there is some statistics website where it ranked countries by general knowledge of government/other countries/ etc and the USA ranked 11th. That is pretty bad for a country that hails themselves as the best country in the world

"there is some statistics website where it ranked countries by general knowledge of government/other countries/ etc and the USA ranked 11th. That is pretty bad for a country that hails themselves as the best country in the world" Like I said, Americans are immensely ignorant. I do not believe we are anywhere near the best country in the world, and a lot of us actually don't believe that either. However, some Europeans act like they're so much better and more enlightened than we are, when they really aren't.

"That is pretty bad for a country that hails themselves as the best country in the world" Thats what our politicians do, plus their blind supporters.

I'm sick of this stereotype that Americans think that we're in the best country in the world. That's not true. Most people I've met acknowledge that we're in large part a s.h.t show. I hear Americans talking trash about our country more than I hear them praising it.

I said we are not all that we are cracked up to be-that dosnt mean competition. If Europe is as stuck up as you are then im glad we are inferior to you.

Np, I will. At least I can teach myself and I dont need a school to try and tell me what im gonna do. The only reason i try in school is so I can graduate. Everything else I know about what I want to do has been learned on my own time. I imagine the problems I have with schooling here are just glorified in Europe.

unlike in america our education separates the degenerates from the actual people willing to learn. in america you mesh them all together and everyone suffers. gg

That describes like, 65-75% of the population. Most are kind, hard working, and humble. But as anywhere, there's a large amount of arseholes, imbeciles, and bums.

"inferior as a country to europe" Well, Europe isn't a country, it's a continent. And the U.S. certainly isn't great, but it's by no means inferior to the continent of Europe. We've both got our ups and downs, we're in the same shtcreek.

We have a terrible government, which finances and allows corrupt drug lords to run the country. We're also one of the countries with the largest income inequality in the American continent. Also, Mexico is terrible at trying to exploit its own resources, and making its economy as competitive as it should be.

"as a country = talking about america not Europe what part of this do you not understand?" "the united states is inferior as a country to europe" implies that you are comparing two countries. The US being one, Europe (not a country) being the other. What part of this do you not understand?
