It is ridiculous to take on so much debt and waste so much time in school becoming "qualified" to do the jobs that you didn't need an education for before.

well you're not paying for grade school at all. so there's no debt there. and 4 years isnt that long, especially when you get into certain jobs like petroleum engineering that start off with 100K+ a year. // The Eternal

It is not bait and most college grads just study a subject such as anthropology and not a technical field such as petroleum engineering.

Met most grads have you? That is why you'll never make it into college, cause you make huge sweeping statements. Only thick af people complain about getting into debt for a good job. Why would you want someone with a degree nor high school diploma being a doctor or brain surgeon when they don't know what they're doing?

I am talking about jobs such as being a doctor.

"Why do we need so much "education" to get a decent job?" It's not specific. You can't just suddenly change the rules of the topic as soon as someone present a counter argument

idk about ur school. but my teachers apply a lot of real life application stuff, also the classes we can take are up to our chosing so we can take ones that interest us as long as it's enough credit. I don't make the rules, I just follow them. (⚫️ ͜ʖ⚫️)

i would agree that there are some jobs that really shouldn't require an advanced education, like public school teaching (cuz lets be honest, their so-called training is pretty much useless. go to any college and you'll find that the professors received no such training, yet they're somehow better at teaching LOL)

Being a teacher is being a babysitter.

Why would you want someone who could barely pass high school teaching you though?

People go to school so the advances humanity has made over the course of years is not lost. Also, you are to be educated so society does not only compose itself od dumb nitwits who can't tell what's a one plus another one. It is essential for human development and is downright important for it. Over the course of these 5,000 years of history, people have FOUGHT BATTLES dedicated to asking for better education and aspects relevant to that area of thought. And in basic words, that is why education is but an essential key in life and will never fade or result in something feigned to waste your life on.
