^Life doesn't work that way. And what happened? And PUSH5 all music takes some form of talent. You need to be able to have range, guitarists who can legitimately play. Same for drummers and bassists. And if its electronic music you need someone who can work there way around a keyboard and a metronome. No mater the genre their must be someone with talent or else the music wouldn't sound good. Its fine if you don't like Metal. I can understand why you don't like it, it isn't even my favorite genre (I am more of an alternative person, mainly postgrunge). But you can't say a genre lacks talent. |

You really think a couple of hot teen agers couldn't pull a stunt like this. Could have easily lip sinked. AND EVEN IF THEY DIDNT! They may have the ability to sing but on there records they use an over saturation of auto tune and there lyrics just is very bland. They are a band put together by focus groups and not by legitimate love for the music. |

No, Foo Fighters still makes god music without auto tune. Adele uses auto tune but her lyrics arent bad. And there are quite a few others who can still make good music. And the all artists use auto tune argument isn't a good one. That just means we have a really big problem. A problem we must fix. Which why in my music I will try my hardest to use real drums, guitars, bass, and try as hard as I can not to use auto tune. Worst case scenario I would do a duet with my friend Johanna and have her make it sound awesome with her delicious vocal chords. |

Lobstery, I think the band themselves don't have any talent. BUT THE ENGINEERS THAT MAKE THEM SOUND DECENT ON RECORDS AND CRAP! Those people have a very large amount of talent. The engineers work very hard to make it so that these people don't sound as bad as they really do. |

Autotune =/= bad. You do realize in order for auto tune to work properly an artist has to be able to sing a bit, right? Autotune isn't some magical device that can make everyone sound like Whitney Houston, that's not how it works. It's a pitch corrector, and a lot of artists that noticeably use auto tune do it on purpose, to get that robotic effect. That doesn't make an artist bad or untalented. Stop being an absolute idiot.

^A few years ago that would have been true, but listen to a Katy Perry live performance. Its absolute garbage, she can't sing. Then listen to her studio tracks. They sound flawless vocal wise (the music itself is fairly mediocre). Look at some of Brittney Spears unedited tracks, they sound pretty damn awful. Then listen to her studio edited tracks, THEY SOUND PHENOMENAL (Again vocal wise, Britneys music in general is exceptionally mediocre). |
