I spent the return trip to Coruscant pacing the bridge of a Republic cruiser wondering how I was going to tell StickMasterLuke that SongofSwords had been killed. I guess I didn't have too long too wait. When we arrived at Coruscant, I was immediately ordered to the temple to give my report. I had a feeling I was about to be in deep trouble.
I walked into one of the briefing rooms just as several other Jedi were leaving. There must have been a briefing on our active sieges of Separatist worlds. After they had all left, only StickMasterLuke and Builderman remained.
"Report," ordered StcikMasterLuke. "Did you apprehend Song?"
"'Acquired' would be a better word," I responded.
He raised an eyebrow. "Acquired?"
"Yeah....," I hesitated as I made my way to the opposite side of the briefing table from him. "Her body is-"
"Her body?!" he interrupted. "We needed her alive!"
"There was an unforeseen complication. The refugees weren't thrilled with the fact that her army had destroyed their homes. They came in a mob and managed to shoot Song."
He looked mad. "So let me get this straight: a group of settlers just waltzed up and shot Song while you were 'unprepared'?"
"Uh, not exactly. They came in a mob wanting to kill Song. We thought we had managed to turn them away, and we let our guard down. However, a couple of them jumped out of the crowd and started shooting. The managed to hit Song," I explained.
He was definitely mad. "We needed the information she had!"
"We would've been insanely lucky to get anything out of her. Song was tough and wouldn't have submitted to interrogation easily any-"
"Song was undercover working for us," he interrupted again.
I was stunned when he said that. "What?"
"Song volunteered to pretend to switch sides in order to get us information. She was willing to take the rap for it too."
"Why did't you tell me?!"
At that point Builderman chimed in. "Needed to convince the enemy, your reaction was."
"You should've told me."
StickMasterLuke crossed his arms. "Would it have made any real difference?"
"Well I wouldn't have had her sitting out for refugees to smoke! I would've been getting some information instead of wasting time making sure she was secure like a prisoner! So yes, it would have!" I almost yelled.
He was about to respond when a clone burst in. "Sirs, we have a situation."
We all turned our attention toward him.
"What's happening?" I asked.
"Starlilynight has been spotted on an apartment roof not far from here. She has two currently unidentified hostages." He looked at me. "She demands that you come immediately."
StickMasterLuke and I looked at eachother. "It's bait," he said.
"Of course," I responded.
We raced out of the building to reach Star before she decided to dump her hostages off the side of the apartment.

all of my ot stories only last like 2 episodes

Then Swift, the legendary Sith Lord Swifticus in disguise, drops from the ceiling in front of Phelps. Swift flashes his handsome amber eyes menacingly and smirks; the room is filled with dread. Only now does Phelps realize his grand mistake. He had blown Swift's cover and humiliated him on his rise to Sith Lord once more.
"No more!", Swift bellows. "I'm done with you Jedi and your toddler-like games. The galaxy shall be restored to the time of my rule!"
"Sw-sw-swifticus! You're dead! I buried you along with the alliance of that era!" Exclaims Builderman.
"You were sorely mistaken." Swift whispers as his face turns grim. He raises a hand toward Builderman. All too stunned to speak due to the strength of the force emitting from him mindlessly watch. Then he clenched his hand into a fist, Builderman doubles over.
"A mistake with consequences." Swift then opens the fist. Builderman seemingly explodes, the room filled with gore. Everyone appalled by the destruction he caused with a simple gesture. Was this the power of a legend? Were they all doomed. Yes.
Swift, cloaked in dark robes, slides his hand down the side of his body and grasps his lightsaber from its hilt resting on his hip. Raising it to his face, admiring the clean surface and unique hilt, he activates it. A black energy able to disintegrate foes comes out.
"I'm truly sorry." Swift says, "you had great potential Phelps."
There was no mercy for the Jedi assassin and occupants of the room. Or the room. After the Jedi's miserable defeat, Swift brought it down on their corpses, wondering, who to apprentice.
