i miss being at my summer camp so much
i have all these /really/ vivid memories so if i close my eyes i can virtually feel the sun and the whole atmosphere of being at camp. its impossible to explain unless you've felt such love for a place which is frustrating because i cant really talk to people about it. but its so care-free and fun there and everyone is amazing and its warm weather and fresh air and the same familiar grounds and buildings- i wish i could go back now :(( |

yeah see im no good at that. i only live in the summer so 1/4 of the year im living in the moment but for the other 3/4 im either living in the past or the future ya feel |

at mine at least you get to choose what activities you want to do (ex: soccer, archery, canoeing, baking, crafts, outdoor cooking/living, etc.), plus a bunch of other fun stuff like free time at the pool, talent shows, and other messy activities :))) |

oh trust me it is. and then theres all the good friends you make (because you do make really close friends really quickly when youre living with them). do u mind telling me how old you are? if youre old enough to get a job you might be too old to go to camp lol
i totally need to get a job this summer to save up for college but i cant stand the idea of not being at my camp during the summer so im going back to be a cit |

im 16 right now so i prolly wouldnt be able to go. west virginia sounds way too far just to have a job when i could get one at the mall or something. but eh its probably a pretty fun job. theres also jobs at camps around here too so |

@hook idk it depends on the camp. my camp (where im going to be a cit this summer) is a sleepaway camp so yeah you sleep there but there are other camps that are just day camps |

my family could never afford to send me to summer camp but i went for like 3 days for school (the school paid for half of the trip as a year end celebration for the grade 6s because then we move on the middle school) and it was so fun i wish i could have gone for actual summer camp
