pros
1. roblox has to pay money for more servers with all the new players joining so if it was pay to play roblox wouldn't have to pay as much for servers and it would lower price floors
2. people are always complaining about NBC don't get enough rights well for $5.95 a month pay to play everyone has BC no more complaining about rights
3. there wouldn't be millions of alts that just get abandoned for years and then PGed
4. this goes back to number one roblox would earn more money and be able to bring out more updates that the community would like examples smoother gameplay new themes better and a better roblox studio
5. no more BC only games as all players will have BC all games will be accessable by all players
6. less exploiters alot of exploiters use alts or guest to exploit but only being able to have a BC account will make people less likely to want to exploit because they are using a payed account
7. less players would also mean moderators would be able to find expoliters trolls etc easier and ban them
8. less players would mean that ROBLOX would take so long answering every email they are sent

1. People who had BC and expired would be locked out of there account until they bought bc |

3 words OH HELL NO. Okay, That's a bad idea people payed money for BC,TBC,OBC and robux and then they would have to pay for that which would cause loss of players and nobody would go on the site unless they were addicted to pay 5.95 a month. Then everyone would have BC making the people who bought it before the update would be mad. |

Actually you could just check if they got the benefits (eg health more than 100 when they join) so I guess changing PlayerOwnsAsset to return false for those items would be useless

Roblox makes a large amount of its money from Advertisements on the website and mobile advertisements in-game.
If Roblox was pay-to-play, there wouldnt be enough users to have the ads contribute majorly to profit Roblox.

cons:
1. roblox will lose 99% of their playerbase
2. less people will play roblox
3. less people means less money
4. less money means roblox will have to charge more
5. charging more means even less players
6. less players means less money
7. repeat 3-5 over and over again until roblox loses so much money that they go bankrupt
so yeah, they really shouldnt go pay to play
