i dont plan on falling in love and stuff but, why do people talk about it so much? it seems like every day there is a new thread on ot about "MY CRUSH JUST CALLED ME" or "i cant talk to my crush" i really just don't understand it. |

in real life most people on OT dont get to vent about it much, whether it being judged or just too afraid to. they might not even have someone to vent TO about all the stuff going down. otherwise, it just feels nice to have another, somewhat anonymous voice acknowledging whats going on |

Because there is no better place for these people to post this stuff, other than talking about it face-to-face or by means of online communication with friends. And since you have *somewhat* of a layer of anonimity via the internet assuming you're using an alias, it'd be a good method of communications of your problems. Now, whether the people on the forums care or not is generally irrelevant to the original poster, since they usually find the problem urgent.

From what I've seen, many have said that, but how much the other party entices you will be irresistable. It's your inevitable fate, and from my measly 13 years of experience, you'd have to be extremely mentally trained to resist that. If you can, all power to you.
