Rest in peace Bowie, the man from outer space who came and visited Earth with a warm embrace. May he forever travel on Mars, for he was a hero to many. It's difficult to hold back my tears, but I simply can't hold them back. Bowie was just an amazing individual, he was no man. He was a Starman. At his age he could've done whatever the hell he wanted but no, he instead continued to create music. We lost this Starman today. He's blown away not only my mind but millions of other people. |

Aw man thats really sad. But lets look at the positive, he played music until 69 and stayed fairly relevant. Its just sad cause he will never be able to tour for the album. He truly was inspirational as a musician and as an artist. |

I wrote this poem for Bowie, it's kinda similar to the first post of this thread but I just wanted to share it
Rest in peace, Bowie
the man from outer space who came and visited Earth
with such a warm embrace
May he always travel Mars
as the hero he'll always be
It's difficult to hold back these tears
and I simply can not hold them back
You were no man,
you were a Starman
at your old age you could've done anything
but instead you decided to create such lovely music
such strange and lovely music
You left Earth being a Blackstar
you've escaped Lazarus and now you're on Mars
We lost you today, oh great Starman
you're now with Ziggy and Tom
you've blown not only my mind, but many other peoples minds as well
to think such a simple liftoff started off your career
