Madeleine placed the grapefruit juice in the fridge again, and instead grabbed the milk, along with the french toast crunch, afterwards looking for a bowl. |

You have several in a nearby cabinet.
And plates.
The rest of the rye loaf.
And a book on Nan-OS eighty eight. |

Null pressed the A button, rather quickly before any of the policemen stopped him and asked questions. He had nothing to hide, but still, he preferred to stay out of their sight. |
You recall the police riot in Aztlan square a year back, thirteen supposed 'criminals' were gunned down in a bar, no police were found guilty when the 'criminals' were found otherwise. You arrive back down at ground floor, a bored man in shaded spectacles sits at the reception desk, ashing off a viceroy into a glass ashtray. "Mornin'" The man says in a mumbled groan. |
Madeleine grabbed another loaf of rye, along with a bowl. She served the French Toast Crunch along with milk in it, grabbing a spoon and going back to sit on her bed, the bowl placed on her lap. She looked for the remote control, she wanted to see what was on TV. |

Yeah, best not to be involved in anything regarding the police. Null stepped outside the elevator, looking at the bespectacled man, replying with an idle "Mornin'.", heading outside. |
You grab the remote.
You recall there being 50 channels in your standard cable package. |
-Null-
You stand outside of your apartment building, VideoFlash is about three blocks away. Do you walk? |
Madeleine began flipping through channels, absent-mindedly. |
You come to some show about cops.
It's alright. |

Null walked towards his workplace. Joy. |
Madeleine stuck to the cop show, while eating her cereal. She looked for a clock, after all, she had to go to work later. |
As you walk to work, you notice an unfamiliar looking soldier type in red armor, standing against a wall.
...
You arrive at VideoFlash, Kolumbia's premier video game and video rental shop.

Null quickly entered VideoFlash, looking for any co-worker. |
Marcus, a very dull looking man in a VideoFlash hat, is looking at the front door. His face lights up with the door chime.
"Welcome to VideoF-Oh, Hi, Null." He says, resting back on the counter. "Something happen? You were supposed to open up." |

Null entered the store, quickly waving at Marcus, getting behind the counter.
"Sorry, was running late. A bunch of officers were next door, can't really know their intentions.", he said. "By the way.. There's a soldier-like lad outside, all in red. What's up with 'im'?" |
-Null-
"No clue, man. It's best not to question the oddities." He says, pausing. "It's best not to question the oddities."
-Other one-
It's currently 7:30
You're due for work at 8:15. |

Madeleine groaned and went take a shower. How far was work, again? |
About twenty minutes away, if you walk.
For about 5 bucks, you could ride a bus,it'd take about five minutes. |
Madeleine decided on taking the bus, walking wasn't for her right now. |

Null gave Marcus the best worried look the monitor he had for a face allowed him to give. "I don't know, something could be going on, and I don't want to see myself disconnected anytime soon.", he said in a slightly joking, slightly serious manner.
He rested on the counter and asked if anyone had come into the store. Null looked around to see in which way he could pass time during the hours when nobody came.

Null
The new wonderbox I80 entertainment cubes what for your video games™ had arrived the night before in a big box.
A pudgy man wearing a t-shirt for some band begins to wander the shelves and displays. |

Hmm, perhaps Null could check one of those out in the back room, like he usually did with the new releases. Hell, maybe later he could grab Marcus or whatever poor sod had to work the next shift and play whatever they had.
Null greeted the man with the programmed greeting, along with the programmed wide grin flickering on his screen, friendly, asking him if there was anything he could help with. |
