Well, in 2010, I joined and the first thing I saw was this, Team killers. Literally every server had teamkillers. Then you have the roleplay games, where ODing was more common than today, and finally you got these good games which made me think of hope with this company. #code print ("Is pre-approved! http://www.roblox.com/Is-pre-approved-item?id=343282747")

All I know is that apparently a lot of people liked it more. I know the games I played when I joined were better than the ones I find now, in that there were more creative games that had a greater ROBLOX vibe to it; I don't know how to explain that. And maybe it was just because I was a noob, but pretty sure there was a higher quality community. Also perhaps only because I was a noob, and younger, but everything just seemed better and more attractive than stuff does now. But that wasn't long ago. But if the trend were to continue, old ROBLOX must've been pretty sweet in terms of community and game concept.

The front page games would constantly change, exposing people to new ones rather than a couple being the main ones at the top 24/7. In my opinion, it was better this way (although Phantom Forces is great) and this was how I found great games like Roblox Ultimate Assassin (by hikia and zshakoblah), Contamination (by CoderQwerty), Medieval Mountain (by Nawtz), and Datine's Reason 4 Life games. Unfortunately, the nature of the front page at that time (no real guarantee to keep popular games up there like it is now) rendered most of those games forgotten. The events were far better, and not centered around time-wasting or developers. Some games were simpler, but that was part of the fun of it. However, exploiting was FAR worse around the year 2012. Cheat engine was rampant, and for a few months it got difficult to find a popular game not being messed up by exploiters. Also, game-copying (if anyone remembers those jaredvaldez accounts) was going on at a massive scale. For a long time there was some cheat/exploit you could do to make your character move faster throughout all roblox games (I think it was changing the frame rate in roblox studio, but I don't quite remember), which, as you can imagine, was used by almost anyone swordfighting or doing group wars. Also, the group battles/raids/wars were generally a LOT better than they are now. Back then, most of the big groups had fair places for raids, and it wasn't always a test of "who can build the impossible-to-attack base with way better tools for the defenders". And last but not least, ROBLOX HADN'T MESSED UP OBSTACLE COURSES AND PARKOUR WITH HORRIBLE MOVEMENT (MAINLY JUMPING) ANIMATIONS!

it was all simple the community was scarce but kind prices were low and new features were added very often, when materials arrived they were the bomb
