Who would fall for a trick like that? But it is worth trying, but what would I use for a stick? Hm. My gun maybe? |

Your gun would work fine. But whose helmet? And who would take a peek? After all, it's useless to sacrifice that trick when no one's watching for the enemy's muzzle flash, right? |
I'm gonna ask Mr. Officer here to see the muzzle flash and the helmet is gonna be mine. |

You ask him to keep an eye on the sniper, but instead, Mr. Officer decides that he's too valuable and sends a Private to do his bidding. You take off your helmet and put it on the gun. What now? |
#### officer. This Private will do. Now, I'll tell him to keep an eye out for any flashes and I'll poke the helmet up. |

The Private subtly nods, and keeps a close eye, as you raise your helmet into view.
After 30 seconds, a shot whizzes close by the helmet. You don't know if the Private has seen him or not. What now? |
I'll ask the private. "Hey, you seen where he shoots from?" |

It appears he didn't hear you. |
"Hey, Private! Did you see where he shot from?!" |

You see him slowly crawling out of the sniper's view and then nodding. What now? |
Okay, time to tell our sniper where the other sniper's location is. Didn't think that the enemy sniper would actually fall for that. But first, "Could you point as to where the enemy is hiding?" |

"Yeah! He's in the third floor of that cottage down the street, third window from the left!" Yells the Private. |
"Alright, thanks, Private." I say to the Private. Now that I know where the sniper is, I'll go tell our sniper. I walk to the sniper, then say to him, "Hey, the enemy sniper is in the third floor of that cottage down the street, third window from the left." I say. |

"Thanks, soldier." He says, and then moves to a favorable position to take out the enemy sniper.
Suddenly, one of the NCOs who have been part of your squad call you over. |
I wonder what that would be. I'll go to the guy, see what he wants. |

On your way to him, you hear a gunshot. Seems like the sniper has taken his shot.
The NCO would like to commend you and give you a promotion, as soon as the battle is over. |
Oh, okay. A promotion huh? I'll accept it, I guess. I feel a bit honored. I'll get it once the battle is over huh? Okay. I'll be waiting for that. |

Some of the Wehrmacht troops who were here before you got here are now gearing up to move down the street where the enemy sniper once was. What now? |
Maybe I should go join them? Maybe no? What's my infantry and the StuGs doing? |
jhewoiJoin Date: 2013-01-06 Post Count: 2230 |
Resting. The StuG has halted and the crew has come out and rest. The tank commander in particular, is taking a smoke. |
Maybe I should just go and see what's at the place where the enemy sniper was. Yeah, I'll go do that. |

You walk towards the cottage down the street, and go up to investigate.
The sniper lays dead, slumped over the sniper rifle.
You hear commotion in the next room. |
Commotion in the next room huh? I'll go check that out. |

You open the door. Nothing there. Just a few rats.
What now? |
So, it's just an empty room with a few rats huh? My senses are telling me to... go on a useless search to find anything useful inside here! These rats are a bit gross though, so maybe I won't bother. Ah, who am I kidding, I'll go on with the useless search. But to make sure I can actually search for things here, is there anything inside of this room that I can do a useless search on? |
