The ROBLOX forums have slowly crept downhill over the past few years and it's extremely rare to see people help one another out. More people are focused on post count than the real reason this forum exists. Part of myself wants to blame the moderators (not community staff) because they allow users to fill the forum with spam and cruddy posts and not banning them harshly enough because of it. I look back on the old days of foruming to when people were more helpful and less edgy/troll driven and wish we could go back to being a really good community towards new players. When I join a game I have questions--and the first place I go to is discussion boards. New players don't want to see "get out oder" and "tl;dr". Maybe I think this way because I'm a lot older than you all and I've been here a really long time, but it shouldn't be like that. We should all strive to make the general foruming community a helpful community. I'm not sure where everything went wrong...

That's because forumers used to be over 12

"i guess a week-ban isn't harsh" Considering the fact that almost everyone banned because of the forums posts about their ban soon after, I've never seen a spammy forumer banned longer than a day.

Most people who need help behave like they deserve it and don't even say thank you most of the time.

"Most people who need help behave like they deserve it and don't even say thank you most of the time." If you only help people to receive some type of thank you (or reward) then you're not really helping them. You help people out of kindness. Karma always comes back to get you one way or another. If you do good, good will be done unto you.

No, if I help all people but I expect them to at least try to respect me and not be extremely restitutionary.

"trollish threads do appear but not as often" Trollish threads, no. Trollish, unhelpful replies, yes. My post was aimed more at when people ask for help on the forums and people reply with hateful feedback.

Forums are going downhill most likely because of new players who love to troll #code ("𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲!")

"Because they mostly post on the wrong forums." It's not our job to hound someone for posting in the wrong forum. This guy posted in the wrong forum but I still went out of my way to help him: http://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=181753002

I lost hope on roblox´s soul to go heaven when the sponsor crap started. It is only going to hell. And go straight to first level of hell when the bloxys gets on hand of crappy players. http://www.roblox.com/Top-Kek-item?id=324429836
