YOU'RE ALL BAD CODERS AND IM BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU END OF DISCUSSION

"Last I checked you were making up things about the way Lua works when the the source proves otherwise." Assuming things that the source made from a 3rd party export was correct for the application I was discussing is what I did. "But the real problem is when you name yourself one of the top three scripters in this forum along with two people that have totally eclipsed you in every which way." How does this have to do with anything? Me having an ego has nothing to do with anything I have said. "Along with that I've seen you drop in random programming vocab/concepts that are more or less irrelevant. I am of the impression that you do such things to appear better/more skilled/etc than you are." Actually, I do off topic a lot on the forums. When I am on I post to a lot of threads explaining how to do things. There are certain threads which I just joke and leave. However, I doubt you no life track my random schedule to notice. "I am of the impression that you have such an ego that you can't afford to be wrong. And that's where the delusions come in. Everyone's wrong sometimes." Okay? That isn't my problem. I have met people who are much better than me... eh not really. When you are this programming genius in high school, you tend to -.- at how, especially girls, don't understand simple concepts and can apply them. My ego here is if anything implied because I don't expect anyone to be better. I don't care about your perspective. At the risk of you paragraphing me again, I leave you with this: calling someone out on the internet is stupid. As cntkillme would said, that's stupid. You are an idiot. Go to OT to talk about my ego.

cody good job proving how much of an idiot you are. You're not a programming genius, get over it.

lmao cody is delusional about being delusional, and too stupid to understand the purpose of my post see, you can have an ego if you're actually good, but you're not. Both of the two that you ranked yourself with think you're a skid. Everyone who's actually good thinks you're a skid. You're not a programming genius, you're not even good at high level programming. That's why you think OOP is so important but you're not good enough to apply it in a correct context. I tend to -.- at how you don't understand simple concepts like that. I tend to -.- at how you make up your own theories on why things work and how they work. You're a genius in your own mind, and that's it. Ironically, you're too cognitively impaired to realize that you are not a genius at all, just a skid.

"That's why you think OOP is so important but you're not good enough to apply it in a correct context. " I used to, but I took a check. The way I liked classes were using them as structs. I will release my game engine fitted with a game soon enough, don't worry. I will also revamp it so people can utilize the tools over using something gross (unity). You bashing on me stating the way I might think something, and probably isn't, doesn't make me delusional. The chicken crossed the road, oh there must be food over there. (man that guy is an idiot he didn't see the nest over there) You're too negatively biased to me to give your assumptions speculation. So keep talking down to me.

Assumptions, assumptions. I've told people to go away because my game that I made in my programming class (free credits, right??) was far superior than theirs, which was a scratch thing, and they wouldn't stop asking me what I am doing. My pokemon remake is neat. People eat their pokemon.

Why is a redundant argument occurring? It seems rather nonsensical as to why anyone would not enjoy the value of recognizing their inferiority in comparison to characteristics of other users. Recognition of genuine inferiority allows the individual to easily receive intellectual-satisfaction by magnifying the flaws of other, "superior" contemporaries and focus on revising his/her own capabilities accordingly. Truly, you should be quite thankful to experienced users for publicly-criticizing you. It is the most efficient pathway towards greater proficiency.

Please use skid correctly. I am not using other people's "scripts" nor modules nor classes. Product idea, yes, only extended. "realize that you're bad" I'll admit I am not as good as the people in industry who have been coding for half their life. They've developed far more libraries for themselves than I have. They've made more engines and creations than me. They've battle more battles than me. Bad would inquire that I can't do anything and rely on other people, which I don't do. Calling me a skid is idiotic.

alright first I'd like to take a moment to point and laugh at EvasiveAnon, another (the third iirc) pseudo-intellectual to come here to capitalize off of the disagreement at hand. so now that we're done with that bit there, "...you're just falling victim to the Dunning kruger effect" Dunning-Kruger is like a best-case scenario. It seems along the lines of Aspergers disease/sociopathic tendencies. I'd also definitely classify him as having narcissistic personality disorder. All based on a very superficial understanding of cody123454321, however. What EvasiveAnon doesn't understand is that cody123454321's superiority complex is indeed a defense mechanism. All of his self-worth is wrapped into his supposed programming skills, and by admitting his lack of skill, is to relinquish his self-worth. That's what defense mechanisms like that exist for. "cody, can I see your work? i'm actually interested, no flame." Sorry DrHaximus, but fact is, there is no work. Maybe there is some work, but it is in very under developed. What he has is a dream, hence the grandiose claims.

All of his self-worth is wrapped into his supposed programming skills, and by admitting his lack of skill, is to relinquish his self-worth. That's what defense mechanisms like that exist for" Perfectly-valid and logical statement. I would have to admit that I agree with your claim entirely. Nonetheless, I suppose that the aforementioned individual will eventually experience gradual cognitive-dissonance from recurrent exposure to objective evidence. Perhaps the essential issue is not necessarily a "lack" of skill per-se, it is merely an overestimation of skill.
