Standard military terms:
STS = Shoulder to shoulder
The act of forming a line by placing your shoulders to one another side by side.
SFL = Single file line
This is when you align your bodies behind your comrades forming a line looking forward.
PTS = Permission to speak
When PTS is in effect, this means all soldiers in training are to request permission to speak.
KOS = Kill on sight
When a player is labeled KOS this means all soldiers are to kill this player on visual contact.
PR = Practice raids
This is when DD is formed into teams in order to raid each other to practice in field combat.
SF and GF = Sword fight and Gun fight
These are small tournaments held in trainings to test the ability of soldiers when face to face with an enemy.
Faces = Faces Drill
This is a standard drill used to train LRs and MRs to be discipline and follow orders. Faces are done when ordered to turn from your current position;
About face = Turn completely around
Left face = Turn left from your current position
Right face = Turn right from your current position
Center face = Face the instructor
-The common sense of DD-
When ordered to do something from a superior, you are to follow orders. Orders from a superior can be however overridden by a higher rank, in which you will follow orders from the higher rank.
When trainings start, you should always assume PTS is in effect at the very start. You are to keep your best manner and take orders, this should increase your likely hood of earning your promotion.
In trainings, here are the average things to expect. Trainings typically consist of these things: PR, Rescue op, stealth op, faces, SF, GF, grammar test,events, mental test, rules test, boot course, and more. These are drills that can be held in trainings, there are many but those are some of the most common.

[Waiting list]
To earn your first promotion, you are to be trained in a waiting list training. It's best that you learn the rule book and purchase the uniform before going to a training. These will very much increase your chances of being promoted.
[LRs][Private - Corporal]
For an LR to be promoted they are to attend trainings and do well on the field. Being active and following orders are an excellent way as well.
[MRs][Sergeant - Captain]
MRs are typically those who discipline soldiers, and set them up to do trainings with HRs. Doing this is a good way to earn points, but attending trainings, following orders, and assisting trainings are the best ways for an MR to get promoted.
[HRs][Major - General]
These are the hardest ranks to get promoted from, the only way to rank up from these are by attending HR trainings and hosting several trainings. Leading a raid or war is an excellent way and will get you very far as well.
[ICs][Tactical Instructor - Big Boss]
These ranks are hand picked, only the most trusted and loyal members become an IC. Any rank from Major+ can be selected to fill in the roles of these very important ranks. These ranks lead Diamond Dogs and you are most likely to become one by showing your determination and effort to DD. Host several trainings, lead raids, be discipline, help develop bases, stuff like that that'll earn your way up. |
