Houses and Families Creating a Noble House A noble can only establish a noble family when given noble papers. Each family must have sensible lore and either a historic claim to a fiefdom or traceable descendance from royalty however distant, as detailed in the ‘Nobility Titles’ document. Noble House Regulations For the family to be official it must have over 10 identifiable Thismonian members in it. Each house is required to regulate it’s own military and rankings although less rankings are preferential. The house’s nobles must have fiefs according to their titles, from villages to fortifications - either created by themselves of purchased. At the least, one of these fiefs must be raidable. A family can only have a maximum of three members that are given noble papers via direct descendance unless other reasons are specifically stated by the King. Families may not have their own uniform. The regular Thismonian uniforms are still standard. While small unobtrusive edits may be allowed. A sash, insignia or pin for example. -- Commoner Families Commoner families may be formed by individuals in the group, with the intention of one day becoming a noble house by the right of conquest. Commoner families are not recognized as official, without special circumstance. These families may not have their own uniform in any way and are not entitled to any fiefs.
