i'm bored so i'm making this pickaxe pros: affected by mining potion +25% speed can have speed modifiers (ex light copper pickaxe) drill pros: faster than pickaxes if you click faster "Your legacy shall drift away; blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert."

"there's the laser drill which has slightly different mechanics and functions as an axe too" which is pretty much worthless if you want to use autoselect anywhere near trees because it prioritizes them over blocks. it's also slower than the picksaw and the added range only has niche uses
