Before school: Woke up at 5:30, took a shower, dressed and drove to school. Houston traffic is infuriating even at 6 in the morning, and there was an accident on the freeway that had all lanes backed up for miles, so it actually took me about an hour to get to school.
First period: Calc. Had 15 minutes of notes and the rest of the period to frantically work on the two pages of homework due at the end of class. I finished one. Keep in mind that I'm a senior and my tolerance for doing work outside of school is just about 0. I turned it in and settled for a half W.
Second period: Health. I slept
Third period: Healing racism. We had a lesson on how hispanics would be the majority race in the U.S. in 30 years and how Asians would control jobs and money in 70, and how the U.S. Government is starting to change the criteria/definition of majority/minority race accordingly to accommodate whites to make sure they stay on top of the societal structure (they're phasing out the terms majority and minority and are now using dominant and subordinate)
Fourth period: AP English IV. I slept.
Fifth period: Lunch. Soccer game film in the coaches office
Sixth period: Oceanography. Watched a documentary over the environment in the Antarctic and Arctic. (Polar Bears are not cute!! they're ruthless predators)
Seventh period: Study Hall. Studied for my Government test over the Revolution/Articles of Confederation/Constitution/Writings of Locke, Hobbes, Rousseau, and Montesquieu. We already covered this in US History, but I guess you have to start the semester off with a review.
Eighth period: Broadcast. Watched a video on how to properly conduct a TV interview
Ninth period: Government. Nailed my test. I love this class. I get a freedom kick out of it.
After school: Immediately go to the locker room and change for soccer practice. Prepare for rivalry game tomorrow.
After practice: Endure Houston traffic again. Everyone gets off work at this time and once again, there is an accident on the freeway. The freeway gets shut down. I quickly manneuver and exit to take a different route. I go to the store and buy extra items to put in my lunch to carb load for tomorrow's big game. I go home.
