I have an idea, related to many messaging systems. ROBLOXians should be able to message multiple recipients at once with the same message, much like XBOX Live and others.
Example.
Now:
Hi, I'm trying to see if you know what an OTer is?
*copies, sends to original recipient*
*after clicking on profiles, hitting message, and pasting the message, this is taking too long.*
AFTER this update:
Hi, I'm trying to see if you know what an OTer is?
*clicks on recipient(s) button*
*clicks "Send All Friends", "send to multiple friends" (this basically allows you to choose which people you want to send it to), or "send to player (type in their names here)"
This will save time, a bunch of it. It can be used for groups, advertising, or simply just sending the same message to a select few.

Although I like this idea, I'm just struggling with the fact that it might be used in not good ways. The message spammers are just going to go wild with this unless of course it had restrictions on it like "message friends only" or "followers" like you mentioned. Its a good idea though. Nice job. |

And as a side note, I'd really like to see actually deleting messages again. Now all you can do is archive them and I don't know if there's any real way to get rid of them. |

And while I do agree with your point on the spamming, it's not like it's going to send multiple messages to one person if they spam. It's just sending it further. This means more of the chance of someone hitting "report abuse", meaning less chances of spammers being successful in sending too many messages. |

Ease and efficiency is the game of the spammer. The more spam they can make, the better job they think they're doing. If the multi-user message was able to be sent to people who aren't your friends or followers that could open the flood gates for spam messages.
No one would follow or friend a person spams, so that would limit the spammer's ability to do their "job."
The idea with groups is another idea I like. The group wall and announcements are, well... lets just say they aren't as good as they could be. Mass-mail would be an interesting concept - one I'd like to see expanded on. Maybe there could be a group inbox? Just an idea. That way checking the group page you could see if there are any messages from other members specifically in your group and those with specific ranks can be given access to mass-mail as a spammer would likely not attain the level of someone given that right in a group to spam their scam messages.
Again, all ideas. I don't know really how to flesh them out a lot but I think that Roblox could really benefit from adding them. |

I highly support this idea, as I've been trying to message multiple people for a while, and I think this would be a great feature. And as cavedog962 said, there will be some spammers, and that's true. But, as the average player doesn't want to get spammed, just change your privacy settings to a certain people to slow down your messages. But, to sum it up, I agree and support this idea, and it should be added in the near future. |

I think this could be really effective for groups, as an addition to group shouts. Of course, group messages can still be blocked.
