I know I despise recruitment posts, but who are we all if not hypocrites?
Let's start with the basics: Crescent Code is the development team behind Valkyrie, and hopefully future projects both inside and out of Roblox. It currently consists of myself and gskw, and I hope to expand it to increase both manpower and ability to delegate and complete tasks in parallel to better apply our specialist areas.
As a member of the Crescent Code team, you will be working on projects within your own specialist area alongside other members of the team. It is down to you to decide what you work on and when, but be expected to be asked to focus on specific areas and to try and meet deadlines. Currently as a member of the team you will be working on Valkyrie, but that may change as the team grows and we are able to tackle more projects at once. You will never be doing something out of your depth.
Sound good? If not, I can't really offer you much more at face value.
If it does sound good, feel free to reply to the post or to shoot me a message with the details:
* Your cause for interest
* The area you'd like to work on (UI, Web, Solutions, Integration, etc)
* Your experience
* Any references
* Areas of speciality
* A good reason to accept you, explaining why you're not trash. |

So like, you know Valkyrie? Well, a little while back I decided that I wanted it to be a project of a development team, which I obviously founded very quietly and then named Crescent Code. The reason for this was simple: I wanted to be able to have more projects other than Valkyrie, and I wanted the development team to have a recognisable name so that everything was more uniform. Now that Valkyrie is nearing a public release and we have the web servers up and everything, I think it's finally time to start looking to expand Crescent Code so that more development can be done and so that the team can scale to adapt for a larger user base (hopefully) |

Just in case you magically after all of this time still have no idea of what Valkyrie is,

Sorry for being off topic, but I just want to know how people pay each other in robux for these kinds of deals. I've heard NBCers say they have made lots of money off of scripting, but I thought you had to be BC to trade Robux? Sorry for not adding much to the discussion. |

With regards to being paid, I'm sure something can be worked out sooner or later, but given the circumstances there is simply no room to be paying people to contribute to what is currently an open-source project in their own free time on a privileged level granted solely by being part of the development team behind it.
Sure, when other projects come around then payment can be considered for sure, but until then... |

I could join, I'm interested.

This could be a learning experience for me. |

Well the intentions are good enough. You just better hope you have one beast of a UI to let anyone be able to use it without manipulating too much code directly. Even without it, I think it'd do a lot of people good. The magic in this whole thing seems to be cross-site scripting through something like Trello (unless you're web devs too!) to accommodate such intricate communications. But the real nightmare is making all of that clean and efficient...and within Roblox's caching and request limitations.
Overall, I like it. I hope to see it come to fruition! |

@eLunate Sorry, I didn't want to sound like I wanted money for this. I'm really new to Lua in general, and I've been seeing all these recruitment posts. I was wondering how people pay NBCers. I know I won't join the group or get any robux from scripting for a long time. |
