In this simple yet, long, thread I will post all the things of music.

---------Pop----------
Pop, is kinda like rock, with a simple twist. It has more volume. As in, you get to listen to it more. Pop is popular with younger kids ages 8-12.
--------Rock---------
Rock is the most popular with kids and young teens. It has mixes, different volumes and other things teens and tweens like to listen too. Like, Greenday, and Linkin Park. They sound hard, and soft, at the same time.
--------Pop/Rock----------
Most famous celebrites have mixes of pop and rock. They use pop and rock songs in their albums, and sometimes not at all.
--------Metal----------
Metal is a strong type of music. It has many eletric guitars, drums, and high pitched wild songs. They kinda scream at you, but not if you like metal. Metal can be dark, and loud, so if you like metal, and go to metal concerts, your ears must be messed up. CAN YOU HEAR THAT? XD
--------Jazz---------
Jazz, a soft type of music made for oldies. jk. It is mostly with, the trumpet, violins, and some pianos. They are soft and flowing, and very creative. No lyrics, mostly.

That is one of the most untrue statements I've ever heard. Next thing you know, you're going to tell me that the air has no oxygen in it.
"Suckish music = Green day all over."

So just because a song uses "inappropriate content" means that it sucks? Unless you are five years oId or a radical Christian conservative, then Green Day shouldn't be in/appropriate for you, considering that their music is harmless compared to other rock and punk bands. And just because you dislike Green Day doesn't mean that they 'suck'. Millions upon millions of people would easily disagree with you.
Oh, and your post doesn't explain why Green Day isn't in the rock genre. You won't be able to come up with an explanation for that, so you might as well not even try. |

You hypocrite. You say that you are against cussing, but you insult others by claiming that other bands suck. If you really hate Green Day that much, you could stand by your so-called logic and state your opinion in a more refined and coherent manner.
And when I mean by a radical Christian conservative, I'm talking about those ones who constantly complain about everything (like the ones who complain that 'The Frog and the Princess' doesn't have any references to Christianity, which is complete and utter nonsense). I don't have a problem with regular Christians and conservatives, just the ones who completely have a disregard for people's free will and try to force their beliefs onto others.
And just so you know, I really don't like Green Day very much. I believe that they are vastly overrated, and that there are many more bands out there that are much better than Green Day is. However, it is a FACT that Green Day is rock music, the fact that you claim to be an expert in a genre which is known for having "inappropriate references" and hate music that uses them is completely hypocritical. |

Who the flip says suck cheese anymore? Anyway, you missed Rap (Which i hate but I am still annoyed you missed it) Hip-hop, and techno.
Green Day is rock. Quotes from wiki articles: "Green Day was originally part of the punk rock" "Green Day's 2004 rock opera" That would be my opinion on the whole Greenday = Rock conversation.
Linkin Park is not fully rock. They are mostly Punk Rock with a bit of Rap. |
