@sky holy cow, that's the fastest I've seen for school Internet. my schools internet just crawls about <10mbps no matter what time of day. |
(and home internet because you hardly see 100mbps uploads) |

It's nice, we got the same download speed at home, although our upload speed is only 30 Mbps. |

It's possible, businesses can go over 1000 Mbps, or 1 Gbps. People can too, but it's expensive. Of course, not available in all areas, but it's not just Google anymore. |
1gbps Internet is ~$200 here, but that comes as no surprise... (at home) |

According to my ISP, we'll have it by 2017. They are installing new cables now. |

(I mean we'll have access to it by 2017, it'll probably be more money than it's worth though.) |

nobody really cares if you bring a laptop or not to my school
school provided computers are (excluding classes like engineering and photojournalism and all those computers) really poo
tons of chromebooks, and if not, then fat, black bricks that run super slow |
@aikai
what do you think of the chromebooks? I think it's really limited for apps n crap :/ |

@techie
really limited
would rather them have a hard drive
and a better operating system
i don't like theirs
i get it's a chromebook, so of course everything is ran off google, like google drive and such, but it still bothers me a lot. |
oh and what are those brick thingies again? |
We don't even have access to internet |

Our school uses Windows laptops, currently all running 8, probably 10 at some point.
3rd generation Intel processors. |
