So, I'm now on 5 eye-drops after yesterday's visit to the hospital. One of which I have to take 4 times a day. Fun. And I'm going in for pre-op in 2 weeks, on a thursday. Everything's on a god damn thursday.
Anyways, pretty soon, you'll have a video of my surgery and me on anesthetics. Yay. |

@Blox, me too. My right eye is lazy. Not only it is lazy, I can't see with it. I don't see any colors or anything with it, I simply can't see with it. Both of my eyes sometimes move a lot, friends ask why are my eyes moving so fast...
I'm 17 at the moment, doctor said I can have a surgery.. |

crap crap crap crap
the eye-drops i have to take 4 times a day's side-effects:
slight headache above eyebrows
blurry vision
i can't se crap now and I think I need glasses. This is worse than when I got my eyes dilated and now I can't read crap. why must this be a side-effect, all of my internet related duties include reading! lots of reading! I have my web pages at +250 zoom and I still can't read crap.
and Low Man's Lyirc started playing again. I swear this is like the theme of my illness,

how do you get autism from surgery |
|

@Blox
Thats weird. My sister had lazy eye or had something similar to it and she got surgery when she was 4-5

Good luck, I hope you pull though.

So, it turns out that the blurred vision being temporary was only a happy thought. They're meant to shrink my pupils for the surgery, but with shrunken pupils comes poor eye-sight and horrible absorption of light. It takes like a whole minute for my eyes to adjust to a slightly brighter light. The blurryness effect will last longer and longer the more I take these eye-drops. I wish I could just get this surgery done and over with. |

12 days to scheduled surgery. Yay me. |

The final countdown!

So we got screwed over by insurance.
No one within the network does pediatric glaucoma surgery, and the insurance won't allow us to go out of the network without paying a massive fee of $11,500, as opposed to the normal copay of $400 within the network. So if I am going to get surgery, it's gotta be with a surgeon that's not at all comfortable with pediatric glaucoma. Damn it all. |

i should get heart surgery. it's a bit weak, not letting me do sports |
