I spent a week making a mega-man game and for some reason the scripts only work in Studio, the output shows no errors

Roblox's IDE is crappy tbh, and on top of that, Lua is a crappy languages and it's a lot limited then most. I wish they would make more languages compatible with Studio like Notepad++, or at least made different Studios for different languages, not only would this be amazing for creators but it would bring in more traffic and a lot of publicity from people who want to learn coding and make games that other people can freely play.

"Roblox's IDE is crappy tbh" It's pretty good if you're a beginner. If not, go to Unity or Unreal Engine. "and on top of that, Lua is a crappy languages and it's a lot limited then most." Lua is meant to be good for beginners, lightweight, and portable. If you don't want this, go to C# or Haskell. "I wish they would make more languages compatible with Studio like Notepad++, or at least made different Studios for different languages, not only would this be amazing for creators but it would bring in more traffic and a lot of publicity from people who want to learn coding and make games that other people can freely play." Yeah, but then they would need to integrate 10 different languages, add security for 10 different languages, debug 10 different languages, add APIs for 10 different languages, strip pretty much every feature from 10 different languages (Did I mention security earlier? I'm elaborating now.), manage and update wiki tutorials for 10 different languages, and there aren't even enough people to help others with 3 different languages, let alone 10.

And to answer your question, it is because Play Solo doesn't simulate the client-server boundary. Try this: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Debugging#Test_-.3E_Start
