That's not true at all. The banner is there to actually let people know. ROBLOX is finally on console and people don't seem to realize how big of a deal that is.

It's an advertisement for people who may not know yet. ROBLOX is promoting something that we just released to pique people's interest, so actually, it's pretty good marketing.

There's a better way than putting an obnoxious red banner at the top of the screen that can't be cleared at all by those that are already aware of the news, imo.

Don't quote me on this, but I can't imagine that the banner will be up for more than a few days at most. But I agree that it'd be nice to have the option to clear the banner after you've read it. I'll bring that up to someone to see if that's something that can be implemented.
