I took it when I was in 10th grade and got a 141, although that doesn't really effect my actual performance in thinking. It's basically just a test to see how much brain capacity you aren't using. For example, if I had a 156, I would be only using about 125 of that IQ, so it doesn't really even determine your intelligence, it's just a number that looks good on paper. |

IQ test is fairly useful, but hardwork is really what gets you all the way. However, I have never taken one and online IQ tests don't count. |

I kind of doubt that. All IQ tests have to be taken with the parents initiative. It is illegal to give them to kids without permission from the parents. Most times not even allowed with permission. |

I took a real IQ test last year and got a 144, but I also don't believe they are an accurate measure of intelligence. I agree that people who score higher to tend to be "smarter" than those who don't, but like all systems, this one has it's flaws. |

Just to let you know, an IQ of about 100 is what the 'experts' consider average.
Why this whole intelligence thing is strange:
One of my friends and I are both getting good grades in all classes(I think that whenever I get an A in gym I'm being lied to) and we're both in taking Algebra 1 and we're not in high school yet. But, we are not in any gifted program at all. |

iq doesn't measure intelligence, it measures how well you use your brain, i.e how efficiently you use what you got.

TBH considering a majority of you are probably highschool age or younger, I wouldn't doubt that there is a lot of "fluffing" going around on today's IQ tests.
You know how every child is apparently "a special snowflake" and needs to be catered to. |

people with an iq of 175 or over are in the 99.99997th percentile, which means out of americas population of 300 million only 90 individuals have an iq of 175, and that faker certainly isn't one of them lol!
