Whatever works, that's what is important anyways.

NOPE, NOT USING THE ATHLON BOARD
I just remembered that it uses a chipset that is notorious for failing and I've noticed it acting up a few times myself. I don't want a malfunctioning chipset on a PC that I'll keep on for 24/7, so there goes that idea.. |

No offense, but go post somewhere you will actually get HELP lol

Getting HELP is different than getting SUGGESTIONS. You see, this is why I asked for tech-savvy OTers (unlike you) because I clearly know how to set up everything, I just want some new ideas. |

Actually, the chipset is from NVIDIA |

ok but for real i dont really have much good suggestions but i will tell you a GOOD motherboard im using in a pc im building is an asrock extreme4. my dad used to build computers and thats what he got for me so its good quality. it is an intel board though so i dont think you can use amd on it. |
"asrock extreme4"
ew no
BTW I managed to get the build to run, it's using a 2.4GHz Celeron and 2GB of DDR400 RAM |
Tested out the 1TB drive and it passed the short test. Now trying the long test.
The computer itself is very loud though, I'll have to fix that somehow.. |
MY GOD
THIS LONG TEST IS SO SLOW |
Maybe because the hard drive is a tad bit slower, it is 5400 RPM after all.
7200RPM isn't too far off from 5400RPM |
