NOPE, NOT USING THE ATHLON BOARD I just remembered that it uses a chipset that is notorious for failing and I've noticed it acting up a few times myself. I don't want a malfunctioning chipset on a PC that I'll keep on for 24/7, so there goes that idea..

my 25 dollar MSI MS-7267 that I use in my gaming build has support for Intel xeons but there are so many different MS-7267 models, i got the FSB 1333 model with xeon support

ok but for real i dont really have much good suggestions but i will tell you a GOOD motherboard im using in a pc im building is an asrock extreme4. my dad used to build computers and thats what he got for me so its good quality. it is an intel board though so i dont think you can use amd on it.

Tested out the 1TB drive and it passed the short test. Now trying the long test. The computer itself is very loud though, I'll have to fix that somehow..
