I aye for the 22nd Amendment, however, I would like for the 23rd amendment to be re-presented with more clarification just to prevent any future legal issues. Therefore, I will be naying the 23rd. I understand what KOT is saying in the comments but what he is saying is not going to be in the amendment which will lead to confusion and loopholes in the future. t l ; d r 22nd - Aye 23rd - Nay @KOT, read the whole thing (Ret.) Admiral, - Trump

the 23rd amendment allows the sc to check if things are constution all without having to be given a case be submitted This completely destroys a reason to have a sc if we are even going to be realistic and gives them more power Untop of that it says congress and president can deny it anymore which makes this useless, nay!

Fruits, As the author of the Constitution, you must know you already gave the Supreme Court the power to do that with the Anytime Review Clause. If you're interpreting this as a Supreme Court power-grab, you're gravely mistaken. What this will do: - Establish a *crisis resolution system*; as the Amendment implies, this is not for use in addressing trivial matters, like the constitutionality of an Act of Congress - issues like that should be addressed by the judiciary, and through a case. For issues in which all three branches play a *major* role in, all three branches should reach a solution together. This Amendment establishes a system for doing so, thus the power of Congress to regulate the implementation of the resolution, and the power of the President and of Congress to veto the resolution, should the Supreme Court attempt to make a decision about a major crisis without including the other branches. - Increase cooperation between the branches; we need this to be able to make true progress. The branches shouldn't throw obstacles in front of each other, they should work together to get things done. I hope you can take these points into consideration and support this Amendment.
