Hmm, creepy. Apps: I'm not 100% sure if these will work, but it's worth a try. Shazam Encore SoundHound

Soundhound can help you with those songs that are on the tip of your tongue, or ear rather. This app can identify a song for you just by humming the melody or singing a few lyrics, in addition to providing Sham-style tagging. got that off of google

nobody's got it yet, sound hound shut me down too :( thanks for all the effort though, I really appreciate this. again, if you want to hear what I'm going for, type this into pretty much any Text to Speech: wah. wah. ah. ooh. that's about right, but again, much creepier and the voice is less sudden, kind of drawn out. it loops as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Uw6ZkbsAH8 It begins with a slow beat, and it's feminine, quite a hum/robotic if that's your taste. Quite popular, though old. Perhaps it only loops for you since that's all you recall of it.

@gfink not sure @rebel I could see how you'd think thats it, but no, sorry, thank you though! As I've said, the vocals didn't have any drums behind them, just a hum. When somebody finds it, we'll know they found it, trust me.

GUys, like literally copy paste wah. wah. ah. ooh. into a TTS, that is almost EXACTLY what it sounds like, maybe a LITTLE slower. of course, the voice is actually human and a lot more beautifully projected and sung, but again, the part I remember literally had 0 beat behind it, just a kind of eerie pick up hum that repeated itself throughout the loop. Started out quiet, picked up.

Unless it sounds remarkably close to that ^ in a TTS, good chance it's not the track. Thanks again for all the help guys, appreciate it a lot ;)

I know Miles Kane's songs aren't female. But his song 'Come Closer' has the wah wah ah oh, would that be how it is sung for you? As in that slow paced? I'm trying to find something to relate to what you want in order to find a female singing/humming it.

Text to Speech :) and before somebody inevitably guesses it, no, it is not the Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin :)

Nope, still no results :( the rhythm is legitimately pretty much exactly the exact same speed and spacing as when you put it into a TTS like I said earlier :)
