You're awful at this, the key is to get draft picks, the maximum it takes me to rebuild a team is 3 years. My Pelicans in 2k16 are
Pg- Ben Simmons 92
Sg- Klay Thomspon 89
SF- Marice Clark (auto) 95
PF- Harry Giles 92
C- AD 89
We won 8 championships in a row and I got bored so I released Klay, Giles just so Simmons, Clark, and AD can get better numbers. We still won 3 more and then AD retired and I ended it |

*BREAKING NEWS*
pistons and pelicans agree on trade before season starts
NOH receives: a. drummond (85), r. edwards (77)
DET receives: g. carson (80), g. hardin (76)
pistons were looking to get rid of an aging center in drummond, who has declined considerably (down 5 overall points in the past couple seasons) and will be paid $19.75m this season on the last year of his contract. detroit receives centers george carson (age 25) and claude hardin (age 27), two young big men (both 7'0) who can hopefully provide for years to come. detroit did give up their 2nd-string center in ron edwards, who is still young (age 25) and big (6'11) but hasn't shown noticeable improvement since being drafted in 2021. the pistons pick up carson's contract, which has 2 years left worth $11.07m a season, and hardin's contract, also 2 years worth $8.89m a season
