Actually it's quite smart. Roblox is charging you to change something as simple as a name. Roblox is getting money from letting you change some letters around. They could of not even put name changing in at all so be glad you can do it.

The high price is intended to limit the amount of name changes that happen. It could cause lots of confusion and deception if it were free or cheap.
