I just think that changing your name for in-game currency is unfair, other games just let you change your name willy-nilly, why not this one?
Changing names should be free. But if you want to add a cooldown system, sure, go ahead.
ex:
1 Name change - 1 week
2 Name changes - 2 weeks
3 Name changes - 3 weeks
etc.
Only saying this because my account was made when I was like 6-7 and wasn't ever able to change my name.
Quite humiliating, right? |

ROBLOX wants more money, so a cool-down system wouldn't be good. Also more names would be taken, and eventually you would start seeing names like 2388723472373dxd or fire283923923. ROBLOX would then make names with underscores. Ex: Planet_Earth. That'd be annoying.

If this were to happen, chances are you would be able to take the usernames no one else had taken, then revert it back to your original name. All those names are now longer unable to be used and that boosts the odds of ugly names like FastJohnMadden354634563 having to be made. There are only so many usernames available. The only way I see this working is if ROBLOX made it like iFunny, where if a user changes their name, the old username can now be used. Sorry, but this doesn't seem like it'd ever work.

1. What about a special discount? (Possibly 500/700 R$?)
2. What about the Steam name changing system? (If you don't know about it, you can change your name to whatever without taking up a username, it's basically a nick name, so the username would be for login.) |

No cool-down, because most names will be taken. Just think before you make an account with a username. But sure, one free name-change. |

Cool downs for changing name could possible cause chaos and confusion.
Instead how about everyone gets one free name change and after that it cost robux.
I think most of us made our names when we were young, and these names can make it hard for people to take you seriously. I understand how you feel. |
