@strait being intimidating I believe it's the way you hold yourself up on (yes, I know it sounds derisory) don't in real life, seeing a tall, buff stranger coming in with a strong posture and a proud, yet serious face automatically intimidates you here however, we can't base (almost) anything off of real life appearance, so our sense naturally determine how afraid we should be of strangers with the sole information we have; your content and way of typing you always focus on exact and correct grammar, plus you're a very concrete and blunt person. this makes you look confident and proud, thus also more intimidating

i sincerely enjoy that OP delivered actual genuine compliments; things he actually noticed and did his best to actually give detailed descriptions to everyone. usually these threads mainly contain two compliments in different short sentences "you're cool." "you're nice" although OP did reply as above, he tended to elaborate as to why, or I could relate to him calling another OT'er such word, where wording the elucidation would be pretty difficult let's take shivy for example. if I had to compliment him, my first word would be cool and so was OP's. it took me time to put words on as to why, but I've figured it out. he's incredibly gentle and reserved, yet so witty and insightful at the same time he's a special little snowflake :]
