(I mean, part of the overall disconnect here is that I simply can't properly RP Loli's in these situations, because the basic fact of the matter is little girls can't romance. And it's like a script, I can't just stick a 16-year-old's personality into a little girl, I'm just, not bloody sure what to be doing, man! I'm runnin' around the pit with no controls!)

I don't think so. Everything I try and enjoy fails anyway in the end and I end up unhappy like usual and then feel like dying because I have no reason to be alive. I can't even keep a simple light-hearted ISRP going on without getting upset and driving off the DM.
