My hand instinctively strayed to my gun as I entered through the gate. Like most settlements, it had a large wall constructed of scrap metal to keep out the creatures of the wastes. |

I stood up and stared into space. A sudden chill rushed down my spine. My teeth chattered fiercly, sounding like pencils tapping againsts desks. I walked down an empty street. "Shoud've brought my jacket... should've stayed home... but then what was better? The pungent smell of fish that will stain forever, or freezing to death? I wish I had a match..." I thought. |
