Hello, this is a guide detailing the limitations of ones group within the realm of Codror. I. Raid and War Rules II. Lore regulations III. What is considered failed roleplay? I. There are a very slim amount of things more annoying than a raid you cannot win. Here are some limitations to prevent that from happening. -CTF and KO raids are the only ones allowed, no "kill the vip" or whatever the modern genre is doing nowadays. -CTF minute cap is 5 minutes -KO Capacity is not limited. But a limit may be set on a fort. -Raids may last no longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes is suggested. -Siege equipment is allowed, but it should not be able to be abused in any way, shape or form.(ex. arrows shot at wheels of a siege tower stop it from moving, or fling the vehicle) -Raids do not need to be "fair" in the sense of complete equality. That is why we have fair battle grounds. Forts may contain a few hardy choke points. But those choke points do not prevent the raiders to enter entirely. -No spawn killing is a universal rule -Raiders should have their own spawn, easily defendable. Yet this is just a suggestion. -Roleplay raids are an entire different subject. Although they should be winnable, you can make a favored side within them. (ex. raiders might have scaling material for a raid), we wish to be immersive as possible in these type events. - RP wars are not to have allies outside of the realm. Unless it is AGREED UPON BY BOTH PARTIES II. Stay within the confines of these 4 genres: ancient, medieval, medieval fantasy, and early to late renaissance. Anything colonial+ isn't accepted(example. one with anything more than a simple hand cannon.) Codror does however have a linked lore among countries, we want it to be as flexible as possible however. So there might be one group with sticks and bone armors, yet one with the sharpest of steel. However, we do limit a broad variety of races. Races not allowed -Offworlders(besides demonic and angelic beings.) -Overpowered races(such as giant worm thing that eats souls with mere contact) -Dragons and such are allowed, but where they are are determined by the moderator and leader. -Real religion is LIMITED to being generic as possible. (ex. reference the bible as "The Book") (I know this sucks for all you wanting to express your faith out there.) III. One can indeed fail roleplay within the Codrorian community. Here's how. -Failing to stick within the current situation, or unable to relate two topics is fail roleplay. (example, if you are unable to relate how Chief wakakaka was able to be the star captain of the Sisilian military, then you are failing to roleplay.) -Names and titles should make sense, and be spelled out correctly. No lowercase names like "capt'n bob" unless you are a pirate or something lol. -Ruining a roleplay by killing someone without roleplaying it,(unless during an RP raid) is not allowed. -Immersive names are suggested. -If unsure of what to do in a roleplay, ask around in OOC.
