if he meant literally edgy then he is just talking about anime shows that contain drama/drama is a major point played in the series -> death note

Oh, well, it was too edgy to catch my interest then. I actually picked up the first volume once and I never went beyond that, I just held to my mecha and science fiction stuff afterwards. |

I heard they made a Zelda manga...wonder if it's any good. I would definitely reccomend One Piece to you, though...
