how do the shifts work like when you get off a shift does someone else take over or is it the same time for everyone

Not at the same time, no. If it was, we'd all have to work 24/7 to make sure someone was on at all times. Instead it's divided out between everyone so everything is covered at all times, but no one is being overworked. Sometimes shifts overlap too.

do the shifts rotate from morning to afternoon to later afternoon to night or something like that so like everyone gets at least one of each shift
