I. INTRODUCTION

Welcome writers and members of the SCP Foundation! In this forum post I have a special event for you all that might get a good bit of you real interested in participating. Now I used the word "writers" because those that do-- write of course-- should pay close attention to what they are about to read.
I've noticed over the course of my career in the SCP Foundation that multiple staff have come up to me and asked for my reviews. Now these reviews may vary widely depending on what's being reviewed. Reviews on entire SCP facilities, SCP models, SCP scripts, SCP assets and even simply the standard "how am I doing" review have all been part of the requests I've gotten over time. However there is also another review request that I'm quite fond of receiving: writing reviews.
Why did I separate reviews on user made literature from the rest of the reviews I do? Well there's a pretty simple explanation for that. I've noticed out of all things that I review, literature and writing seems to be one of the least commonly noticed or acknowledged by the public Ro-SCP Foundation. Here in this forum post I am going to ask of you to help me fix that.

II. WRITING EVENT INFORMATION

This is all about sharing your creative works and stories and showing them off to other members in the Ro-SCP Foundation. We want to help encourage the advertisement of these creations because admittedly they are what drives the SCPverse entirely. Without all the works of writing there would be no SCP wiki.
Participants of this event can create their own work of writing through any means they wish, and then they will be allowed to share a link to their creation via the SCP group wall (this means a clearance level of at least 0 is required to participate). It is recommended that you create a forum post contained within the "Entertainment > Roleplaying" thread of the ROBLOX forum, and then post your creation on the group wall. Also, add a "[WRITING EVENT]" tag to the beginning of your post if you were going to show off your creation. Your post should look something like this.
"[WRITING EVENT] Hey guys! I just wrote this for the writing event, check it out! [link to your creation]"
Again, it is recommended that you use the ROBLOX forum for your creation. THE RO-SCP FOUNDATION AND ITS STAFF ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DISCIPLINARY ACTION FROM ROBLOX STAFF DISTRIBUTED DUE TO OFFSITE LINK POSTING!

III. WHAT YOU SHOULD WRITE ABOUT

Your creation can contain anything from your own original SCP, to the description and or experiences of a new task force (or your made up experiences of a current task force), to a made up Foundation tale (Foundation tales can cover a WIDE RANGE of topics, such as containment breaches, SCP recovery, GoI related events, internal Foundation events, etc. etc.), or you can even write a story based around and or on your own "character." I am aware that many of you are fond of attaching artificial personalities, characters, if you will, to your career here. Your stories and writings may be based around this character. Furthermore I am aware that some of you attach "anomalous" properties to your characters. To be clear, Foundation Code Three is not being applied to any works created for this event.
Your work may be as long or as short as you wish for it to be. Remember to at least try and maintain some level of appropriate grammar and spelling when writing. Simple mistakes here and there can be overlooked, but a piece of work that looks as if it was typed up with your face and posted straight away will draw us to ask you to stop participating in the event.

IV. EVENT TIME LENGTH

THIS EVENT IS PERMANENT!
You may post works and writings using the tag ([WRITING EVENT]) for this event on the group wall AT ANY TIME! This event will not be cancelled or end until further notice! You do not need to rush to create some writing and post it hurriedly on the wall! If you already have something written up, go ahead and post it now! After that, make more, and post more! This event will last AT A MINIMUM A LONG TIME, IF NOT FOREVER!

V. IMPORTANT EVENT RULES

Upon sharing your creation on the group wall, all members of the Ro-SCP Foundation will be able to see your post and view your creation, and possibly even comment on it or review it.
TO THOSE WHO REVIEW CREATIONS: Unacceptable behavior such as hate speech, harassment, inappropriate comments, or anything that goes against the wishes of the author of the work will not be tolerated. These actions will be subject to the rules we have in place here at this group, and administrators will be authorized to distribute disciplinary actions to those in violation of these rules. You have been warned.
TO THOSE WHO'S CREATIONS ARE BEING REVIEWED: Please accept all comments and reviews appropriately and maturely. Constructive criticism is something that is often mistaken as harassment or hate speech (although there are times when it comes close), and you should be able to recognize it when it is given out. Furthermore in general you should be responding to ALL reviews appropriately, EVEN the bad reviews AND EVEN the reviews that violate the rules explained in the paragraph above. You may report these inappropriate reviews, but if you add on to them, your behavior as well may be subject to disciplinary action.

VI. CONCLUSION

Remember that works of writing and literature are what gave creation to the entire SCP wiki and is what still drives its growth. This something that all of you should take advantage of if you've wanted to openly share your works of writing with others in the Ro-SCP Foundation.
I expect a lot of big and great things to come from this event and I am excited to see the progress that comes out of this. I have already seen piles of great things from the users of this community and I expect no less in this case, because I know all of you have a way of amazing others one way or another, even if you don't think so yourself.
