I'm open to suggestions. Lots of them, I'm looking for a - steam punk - post-apoc sort of game. Fallout copies, are out the door. Aswell of ATF Ripoffs too I want something original. |

Steampunk-Post-Apoc...
A Western game where you can play the role of a bounty hunter who utilizes steam-powered machines to traversethe scorched landscape. The world was nearly destroyed by a cataclysmic event that tore the ozone layer apart, turning the planet into a giant desert. |

I love it @AX
I Could - come up with something scientific behind the entire event. Sense - the ozone layer is slowly dissipating in reality. I could form a RP religion out of it. But, the issue is, how would people live on earth? Without a ozone layer, there is no oxygen. |

Come forth and drink the waters of the Glow, for this ancient weapon of war is our salvation, it is the very symbol of Atom's glory!

"But, the issue is, how would people live on earth? Without a ozone layer, there is no oxygen."
Let's say the ozone isn't totally gone, but in bad enough condition to kill off a majority of life. Plant life has survived and adapted to the new atmosphere, which is over-saturated with carbon dioxide. While it's possible to breathe on the surface, the air is thick and caustic, so most wear oxygen masks while on the surface. Most of humanity has adapted to underground life, but some have begun to return to the surface as the planet slowly recovers.

or humans prepared for this to happen and supplied a surplus of oxygen tanks, enough for a specific amount of people's lifetimes; hopefully being enough to find a solution to the problem
oh yeah and who gives a flying ^&%* about science in a roblox game

Oh Wait, Metro.. But more steampunnnnk.
I still like the idea.
@BooGoesGoat
Or, I could do one of the few that is barely mentioned. WW2 Game, based on Berlin's Invasion, not to go out of way and make it entirely like BoB, with the Soviets, somehow involved in France. |

How about a game set in a parallel universe where humanity never advanced beyond steam-power? Or perhaps a world where Nikola Tesla's electricity won instead of Thomas Edison's? |

Finally, after all these years, ALL oil, natural gas, coal and other fossil fuels are spent. People turn to nuclear energy, and it works beautifully. Fast forward 40 years, a group named SIF bombs all plants, causing huge detonations of nuclear energy and radiation. These explosions decimate 40% of the worlds population, and 57% of habitable land. SIF is hit hard by vengeful governments and all members are tortured and killed. The remaining humans band together under one nation, and using technology developed by Henry Stinger, they use steam-powered machinery and resume almost normal life, but with no currency. Instead, they scavenge, forage, hunt and farm for food and water. Then, Henry goes missing. So do countless other steamtechnicians. People are forced to assume the worst: SIF has reformed, and is dragging their new world down under. |

helloburpJoin Date: 2011-08-26 Post Count: 14376 |
ik, but how do you just bomb ALL nuclear power plants, especially as a group that nobody has heard of and probably has very little members because of it
