Diaz refused to drop weight to fight Connor. Connor went up two weight classes to fight Jr, he broke his foot, Connor had two weeks to adjust his style to fight someone else. Just because he lost one fight by submission, doesn't mean Diaz is a better fighter. Diaz is out on medical suspension, Connor isn't.

mcgregor is still the best featherweight in the world he would have more than likely taken the title from jr if he had been able to fight and then after going up 2 weight classes, he beat the living hell out of the guy. props to diaz for not getting ko'd, but the fact that he took that punishment says a lot about mcgregor's skill and diaz's ability to take a hit. both are impressive in the end mcgregor lost to a submission hold on the ground. congrats, he still dished out a better beating and would have won if he hadn't been so cocky. that doesn't mean diaz doesn't deserve the win, he does, but it also means that mcgregor only lost because he didn't take it seriously enough and that says a lot about his skill level point is there will be a rematch, and if you honestly think he sucks because he lost a single fight then you know absolutely nothing and need to stop talking

The McGregor fanboys are still mad he lost. He finally fought someone whom he didn't have a size advantage over, chad mendes man handled conor on the ground until he gassed out and tried to stand infront of him. Conor is used to being able to out strike most of his opponents since he's normally bigger than them come fight night. Mendes exposed Conor's "weak" ground game and it let Diaz who took the fight on a 10 day notice after being called for it take advantage of that on the ground when conor desperately tried to take him down. For my analysis of the fight, Conor won Round #1, but come second he was basically gassed and COULD not keep swinging at Diaz like he's used to doing to everyone else - with that he fell for the endurance of the Diaz bros and ended up getting hurt badly when Nate tagged him. After the combos in the 2nd round Conor had nothing left so he desperately tried to take Nate to the ground like a fool and was submitted. Honestly weight doesn't really matter in this situation either since they were both piratically the same, in the end it comes down to styles and endurance. At 145 McGregor is literally hurting his body to make weight before re-hydrating etc as most fighters do. Plus you're saying McGregor would've won if they were at 155? What's the difference. LOL There isn't one, Nate could easily do that and even said he didn't care in an interview what the weight was, the UFC offered him 165, to which he said sure, then Conor being the idiot that he is decided it'd be best at 170, a weight that he looks MUCH healthier at, yet somehow performed even worse at? Second round told it all, and McGregor got out-boxed and finally subbed by Diaz. ---- Speaking of the medical suspension, so what? He managed to cut Diaz, that means nothing due to the fact that he STILL LOST the fight come 2nd round since he got rocked and couldn't stand up to Diaz anymore so he tried to shoot him down and ended up failing. The suspension isn't even long, it's just that he cut a spot that could easily be opened up again in a future fight. And as for a rematch I see nothing wrong with it, maybe McGregor would win, maybe Diaz would? Personally I think you fanboys are delusional, Conor was gassed and got tagged then rocked with a combo that made him desperate and he lost, he didn't want to get KO'd so he went into panic mode and showed his back to Diaz. He tried to talk a lot, but couldn't back it up. He is not the GOAT, all of his loses have been from submissions and if he were the GOAT he'd adjust to it, but instead he's busy playing with pool noodles.
