but godzilla 1954 was so dark, and it wasn't necessarily just some fairy tale of a movie. they symbolized godzilla as the hiroshima bomb, destroying everything, and so they showed tons of people suffering over the disaster. a lot of people who worked on the movie actually survived hiroshima. |

I have not seen the movie yet, but I am sure it is good, even by today's standards.
I also have respect for the people who survived Hiroshima/Nagasaki.
But.... a movie doesn't have to be ''deep'' to be good.
Deadpool probably got a better score because it is just more modern, has better effects, possibly better acting, etc. |
