i have two 7" singles & eleven 12" albums (not counting 2x LP ones)

one great song & i could change the world - swim deep (7")
art angels - grimes
language & perspective - bad suns
i like it when you sleep........ - the 1975 (2X LP)
neon bible - arcade fire (2X)
this is all yours - alt j (2X)
i love you - the nbhd (2x)
reflektor - arcade fire (2X)
funeral - arcade fire
everybody is going to heaven - citizen
badlands - halsey
paradise - lana del rey (i regret buying this)
whatever people say i am... - arctic monkeys (was a gift so it's whatever)
+++
i already made a post about this a while ago but i can't find it |
|
|
by not counting 2x lp ones i meant i only counted how many albums there were not how many records in total lol |
|
|
i have around twenty LPs
ones worth noting include:
alvvays - alvvays
burst apart - the antlers
familiars - the antlers
hospice - the antlers
everything all the time - band of horses
plans - death cab for cutie
the photo album - death cab for cutie
we have the facts and we're voting yes - death cab for cutie
the creek drank the cradle - iron & wine
give up - the postal service
asides from that, my collection is mostly comprised of records i bought from goodwill because they personally looked amusing to me (e.g. three 'mitch miller and the gang' LPs, a record on 'graded tap dancing technique').

My vinyl collection is too big to count
Its a very large collection of vinyls (not all of them are in very good condition) from many different genres

Yes but I can see why people like to have vinyl... I dont have vinyl but I have 50+ CDs of some of my favorite stuff just because I like having a physical copy and theyre fun to collect-even tho I dont typically use the CDs and I use spotify instead. |

My dad bought two records in the early 80's which he still keeps, an Alessi Brothers one and a Lighthouse one. And those are really the only vinyl records I've seen in my house.
I don't see a reason why you should buy vinyl records anymore unless you're an actual disc jockey or music journalist. |
