why would they stop clothing copying? it is not against the rules man, you can also copy the clothes they will probably not add that to ROBLOX terms of service.

I'm not sure that "I won't try to change the rules because the rules are the rules" is a very convincing argument but alright.

and also, there is many duplicated shirts and pants everywhere in the catalog when i buy things like t-shirts, soldier uniform, etc. i also see duplicated shirts but the real one is by the creator. ROBLOX already changed the price floor for that. theres so many things that you can buy and YOU CAN ALSO BUY DUPLICATED SHIRTS i should have get one. |

Blocking assets eh? Well.. That would be nice if it wasn't for i usually copy the pictures to put it on a shirt easily. (In roblox studio if i'm making e.g. a doctor.) I could use the asset ids (numbers) but wouldn't that be blocked too? If it's that simple, roblox probably would've done it before.. |

Full support, I for one am a victim, look at the GoT genre Targaryens who use the same armours that I originally created.
The fact that ROBLOX made their items free, and gave it asset protection that we do not get is a joke, it isn't helping designers at all! |

If I got 5R$ for every time my clothing was copied, I'd be rich af.
Look at the GoT genre, the Targ uniform was created by me and copied across everybody elses genres. I have had NO profit from it, and I am actually not even doing requests anymore due to it.
So support, and I hope for budding designers that their clothing can be appreciated without the anti-imaginative copying scandal. |

As I stated previously, actual punishments like bans would only apply to new copies made after the rule change. Retroactive punishment for doing unfair things that weren't against the rules when you did them would be just as wrong as the unfair things.

Heck, even some of the copiers have the watermarks of original designers on the copied clothing.
Why aren't the mods paying attention to that???
It literally takes one glance at the it to see that yoimbald50865(example) is a NOT the original uploader or creator of the clothing with huge watermarks saying ASHSTA on all of the undersides.

I support 100%. I'm tired of players copying clothes and then claiming them as their own. It's hurtful and wrong. Something needs to be done.

the most sold clothes on this site are copied and/or recolored.
their incentive? original owners run out of bc, don't feel like getting it again, therefore people are unable to get their clothes.
if only roblox had the option for NBCers to upload clothes and make them free at least... having BC would be a bonus/incentive for them to generate revenue off their work. |

i used to design clothes for this website. experienced first-hand other people copying my work and making free profit out of it.
you know how when you upload a clothing template that has already been approved when uploaded the first time? it instantly loads without having to be approved again. i'm pretty sure roblox is aware of this, yet they probably don't have the knowledge or resources to prevent more people from copying.
as for punishments, copying has become such a large-scale issue and damages have already been done. i think that for templates uploaded on different accounts with a different ip than the original creator of shirt/pants, their upload should be rejected if it's an exact copy of the original owners. there are pros and cons for this suggestion of course (e.g. original owner switches accounts), but i also wish roblox put effort to prevent plagiarism, especially since they hold the same beliefs when it comes to games being copied. |
