Yes, they have real USD value, I'm aware. A
Yes, people do spend cash on EVERY thing circulated in the TF2 economy.
Every item has a USD worth. People give others items worth USD currency or give USD itself to get another item worth equal USD currency.
Every unusual and rare items was obtained by spending cash, whether it's crate/keys, trading, or just flat-out buying it.

By relative to your own needs, I am refering to your own lifestyle. YOU might be a responsible adult who needs to spend money on these things, other people get the luxury of mooching off their parents. You think 200 dollars on a video game is a waste, to the next man over who might earn twice as more money then you do it is just another day's pay. |
