I just read the roblox blog, and now I am going to list 4 reasons why not to remove tickets. (I hope this will turn out to just be an early April Fool's prank!)
1. It will turn into an all-adults game because adults are more willing to buy things like that.
2. While there will be more free items on the catalog, you still have not removed the price floor. Therefore, NBC or non-paying users will not be able to buy user-created shirts.
3. This,, believe it or not, will result in MANY people quitting ROBLOX.
4. NBC users will be outraged, because the free items will most likely be worse than the ones that cost money.
I hope you consider not removing tickets, because this is NOT a good idea. Thanks for reading. |

The title 'It's free' is very misleading.
When I have robux on me, which is rare, it is always robux that is transferred from tix.
I bet none of the ROBLOX staff have heard of the phrase 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' |

First of all, this is not a prank.
Everyone who trades in their tix for robux (which is now going ahead on a massive scale) loses money (you know this is you have a little knowledge on the trade currency system).
ROBLOX isn't a sort of company which is going to play a joke on its community by creating such a hassle.
So no, it's not an April Fools joke, but it's still a huge joke in terms of how stupid the idea is. Anyone with a little sense of how money works would know that this would effect everything. Sure, devs can make money from dev products. The problem is that everyone is going to end up significantly poorer and purchases of dev products will decrease, along with the robuck to lose value over time.
I don't think anything is going to stop this update from happening. So make your decision to either live with it or leave.

while i agree with your main point (i personally wish for tickets not to be removed), here's why your argument is poor:
1. besides the fact that you are missing an antecedent for "that", the simplification of the economy would actually make it easier for kids to understand. i know when i wasn't a teen i had no idea about trade currency and why tickets and robux where different and other things like that. this will actually bring more kids in (roblox's goal, being a kids game) rather than adults.
2. the price floor is being lowered to 5R$, and the market will gravitate toward this lower price because of free market principles. apparently there are going to be ways to earn robux for free; it will be a difficult transition, but i'm sure roblox will figure something out (they always do somehow).
3. this is said about every update with any opposition. roblox gains thousands of more users for every user that quits. it is of no concern to them.
4. this is speculation that will likely turn out to be false. even if it is true, why should items that cost money be the same quality as free items? doesn't that remove the point of having any money at all? plus, it would be counter-intuitive for roblox to make poor items, as that would cause people to lose interest (they don't make any revenue from that); they will create items that satisfy people enough to stay but still persuade people to pay for better things.

Btw, it's not only the clothing that's the problem. It is also game passes and such. NBC can't get game passes anymore either... |

My only source of income from this game was from TC. I usually buy OBC in the summer, and I avoid buying BC during school time because well, school, but I still like being able to buy hats and limiteds while I'm not NBC.
