"since Cruz will make the gop ballot" He won't because Trump will win CA, AZ, NY and PA, all delegate-rich Winner-Take-All states "he'll win over hillary cuz no one will vote 4 her" He wouldn't because independents would much rather Hilary than a Tea Party wingnut who wants the US to turn into Christian Saudi Arabia. "Trump wont win those states" He absolutely will win CA and AZ because of his anti-illegal immigrant rhetoric which will be very popular among Republicans in those states. He'll win New York. It's his home state and the latest poll has him with 64% and Cruz with not even 15%. PA is also a safely Trump state. Polls have him up quite comfortably there. Please stop OP you clearly are TOO biased and don't have a clue about what you're talking about Cruz would lose a general election to Clinton or Sanders. The polls already prove it. No swing voter/independent would vote for a theocratic right-wing nutjob over a fairly moderate candidate like Clinton. There are also more progressives or progressive-leaning people to vote Sanders over Cruz. The only Republican candidate who can defeat Clinton or Sanders is Kasich and he can't even win his own party's primaries. So the Democrats got this election in the bag.

@sir Trump actually is the one who loses both to Sanders and Clinton in the polls, Cruz is ahead of Sanders tied with Hillary while Kasich has the largest lead over Hillary

"Cruz is ahead of Sanders tied with Hillary while Kasich has the largest lead over Hillary" http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_cruz_vs_clinton-4034.html most recent one has clinton leading http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_cruz_vs_sanders-5742.html sanders is far ahead of cruz

CNN said this last night that Cruz was ahead of one of them and tied with the other and that Trump is trailing both

"CNN said this last night that Cruz was ahead of one of them and tied with the other and that Trump is trailing both" What the hell are you talking about? This is the most recent CNN poll. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/2773296-rel5a-2016.html Shows Sanders up by 13 points over Cruz. Clinton is tied, yes. But the average has Clinton up 46.8-45.8 and realistically that will go in favor of Clinton because Cruz is so far right nobody except other Republicans will vote for him. "either way Trump is further behind" That is true. Neither will win though. "and if Cruz gets Hillary 1v1 Cruz will gain more voters" From who exactly? "if i find out that razor teeth has been making fun of me, i'll turn him into cat food and lots of it"

"Cruz will gain women voters and uneducated" You've mentioned this before about women and it makes no sense. Women are typically more liberal than men are, they voted 55-44 Obama in 2012 compared to men who voted 52-45 Romney. It would make no sense for them to vote for someone like Ted Cruz, especially against someone who is a woman herself. Also, he will only get votes from poorly-educated whites, not poorly educated people in general. If we just go with poorly-educated whites using the not-a-high-school-grad definition, let's take a look at the 10 worst states for that: Oregon (71% of whites graduated): Safely blue Nevada (72% of whites graduated): Swing state Alaska (76% of whites graduated): Safely red New Mexico (77% of whites graduated): Safely red South Carolina (78% of whites graduated): Safely red Louisiana (same as SC): Safely red Georgia (same as SC): Safely red Hawaii (79% of whites graduated): Safely blue West Virginia (80% of whites graduated): Safely red Washington (same as WV): Safely blue So 6 of the 10 states here are safely red states, and Nevada's a swing state but a very Hispanic-populated state and Hispanics vote Democrat too. Hawaii is a state which is very non-white which favors Democrats. He won't gain many electoral college votes, if any, from uneducated whites. Then again, it won't matter because Cruz won't even win the nomination unless Trump doesn't get the majority which he certainly will. if you don't expect the GOP establishment to lower in a candidate they approve of in a convention, you are fooling yourself.

"also trump wont get to 1237" He just won Arizona, a winner-take-all state. He's ever so closer to 1237.

if cruz's 52% holds up in a recent poll in utah, he will get all 40 delegates there as well. utah is 50 + 1 state

"i really don't care about this election anymore - the republicans are going to lose unless someone waves a magic wand and says 'kasich, you are the nominee!'" even then the republicans are going to lose l0l because trump will run as a third-party candidate and this will end up just like ross perot 1992

wouldn't doubt that trump's ego will inflate to a level that he thinks he can win running third party.

Case's original post: "He'll win Cali and AZ and Utah and all them states and get it to a convention with the most delegates and win the spot" So far results are only in Arizona and he is dominating Cruz. Lol.
