The basic answer would be him wanting to know everything about what is happening when is right and what is wrong even if people hate him he still wants to be correct even when he is not. It's a basic thing people always want unless they have a mind to figure out that sometimes they have to be wrong on certain things.

Well, that what happens when you're tired and haven't slept at all yet.
If i'm implying i'm saying he's basically wanting to seem like the person that knows everything when he doesn't. Certain people who do have a mind admit that they don't know certain things implying too other people or games or systems.
