Getting rid of old accounts

I feel that ROBLOX should delete accounts that have been inactive for 2 or more years. It is said that in the near future, there will be a problem we will have to face where, there are no room for new, unique, meaningful(As in they actually make sense and aren't just a random string of numbers and letters) usernames. I can see this happening in the next 5 years to be honest, because if you look at ROBLOX's active user count, it seems as though is growing almost exponentially.

@Gixm I know this sounds unbelievable, but maybe I forgot the pass to the account and recovered it about seven / eight years later??? Crazy right?? The reason why I don't support this is due to the fact that after deleting/terminating a ROBLOX account, you can't use the name. Think about it, when accounts become terminated from whatever reason, the names aren't usable anymore. Therefore, not changing anything. Unless ROBLOX some how counterfeit this and somehow remove the account but let the name available.

Did you guys like actually read the post or not? I don't want roblox to remove accounts just because of name snipes or whatever, I want roblox to remove inactive usernames before there are no usernames left to take that aren't just jumbled up numbers and letters. I understand that some people had their best experiences on roblox during 2010-2012. I did. My original accounts, pooface1234567, and the account after that, Erasd12345, were the accounts where I had the best time on this website, however I don't use them anymore, and I, personally, wouldn't mind if they were deactivated.

How about this: 2004-2010 old accounts dont get deleted accounts inactive from 2010-2016 and dont log in in 1 year get deleted!

@stru, neither way you can use the username. Even if it is not deleted or deleted. In both ways the username is taken.

@Gixm, I can agree that the username would be taken even if it's deleted or not. ROBLOX works by terminating accounts that have been against rules and theoretically, the name is either in the system still or when you search someone up that has been banned, traces of the player are still here but the account could be invisible when you search up the name. I would go with the first reason. But is it okay if I could get an apology for you saying that i pg'ed this account?

@Ares I'm pretty sure if this update occurred anyways, the names would be sniped before anyone can take them. And you said "delete accounts". I wouldn't mind if the accounts that haven't been active for eight years or more have the names replaced with numbers. But then again, it would show up as previous usernames and it still cannot be available. And I recently changed my name to Strutted, a word that has been in the dictionary and hasn't been taken for about ten years. There are still creative names out there, just the player is too lazy to think of one. If you're that lazy, go to spinxo, it's a username generator.
