It is with a heavy heart that I, reptilicus13, W1NGSP4N, Roblox veteran since 2011, former member of various clans, terrible scripter, even worse builder, decidedly average RCLer, but most of all, lover of this website, its games, and the people I've met on it, announce my retirement from Roblox for the foreseeable future.
I decided that I'm at a crucial turning point in my life. I've got sports, music, and school to focus on, and with all of that plus my friends and family, there simply isn't a time or place for Roblox. Roblox has been a source of joy, disappointment, friendship, loss, relaxation, stress, victory, defeat, and everything in between. I will always fondly remember my five years as part of the Roblox community, as well as the relationships I've built here, and I hope to some day find my way back, at least for nostalgia's sake.
First, the goodbyes:

I don't know you very well, but you were one of the very first people I met on Roblox, playing my all-time favorite game: Base Wars, The Land. Those few days I saw you online were always fun.

UAF was the meat and potatoes of my Roblox career, and you helped show me the way. For that I will forever be grateful.

I think I can definitively say you were one of the first friends I ever had on this site. You taught me how to fight. Although I've learned much from many other people, you are, were, and will always be the most impactful teacher I've had. UAF for life.

I know you're retired from UAF now, but know that I wish you were still there. I don't know if you realize how much impact you had on me, back when I was a young lad trying to make his way in the clan world. You inspired me to continue fighting to unlock my full potential. I still look back on our most recent PM exchange (from a few years ago), when I need that little "push", because it reminds me that you believed in me.

Brennen, thank you for never giving up on me. I know I've been a pain at times, and I know I've never been exactly what you wanted in your CRO, but I thank you for always giving me a chance. I'm sorry I chose to leave at the time I did, and I wish you the best of luck. Please ensure Eagle Platoon goes into capable hands. I wish I could stay and be your Minor Command, but I guess it was never meant to be. I hope CRO can become something truly great, and I am honored and humbled to have been even a minor part of that.
PAPAN0VEMBER:
I feel like I've always had a mixed relationship with you, but I hope we ended on good terms. I wish you good luck in your athletic and ROTC career. CRO is going to have a hard time replacing you.

I don't know if I'm ever going to stop being scared of you. But I do like "sassy Matt", as I mentioned the other day. I wish you good luck with the Midnight Battalion.
Ghosture/Dead_Zone:
I'd say that of all the CRO HICOM, I know you the least. However, I think you have potential and I wish you the best of luck.

Taylor, I know we had some initial conflicts, but I'm glad we were able to resolve those. Our rivalry was something that kept me going in the CRO. Honestly, I think you deserve a promotion. Even if you aren't always around, you clearly care about your men. Also, I wish I could relate to your personal life but I'm afraid I will never be able to, so... Good luck, you're a strong girl and I'm sure you can withstand much more.

Man, did we have a ride! CRO, TSE... It was always a blast with you. Your drive and upstanding-ness are a rare thing, my friend. A very rare thing. I hope CRO realizes what they have in you. I know you say rank doesn't matter, but you have what it takes to succeed at all ranks. Thanks for the memories.

John, I'm gonna miss you in CRO. We had some good times and we had some bad times, but I think we're better people for it. Know that your memory will always live on.

If I forgot anyone, I sincerely apologize. If you knew me, I assure you you had an indelible impact on my life and Roblox career.
And now for my final request:
Cord, Paul, Vek, Dakota, Arch, and Taylor:
Please don't let Eagle die. I know we had some issues, but I'd hate to see what I built go down the drain. Cord, please give Blox a chance to NCO out as soon as possible. He deserves it. Also, take care of L0RD_RAVEN. He's one of my best friends, almost like a brother.
I know this is already really long, so I'll end with one last thought:
Everyone has their stories about their childhood. Where they found friends, made enemies, hung out, had fun, wasted a lazy Saturday afternoon. For me, Roblox will always be one of those places. Even though it has its issues, it is truly a special place, and I think that anyone who had the connection to it that I did would say the same.
I'm gonna miss you guys and I'll never forget you.
