══─────────╡Promotion Guide and System╞─────────══
Firstly, the two most commonly asked questions are almost always something regarding ranks and promotions. This section should quite clearly elaborate on how to earn a promotion, how the promotion system works and additionally explain the roles of each rank as well as giving further insight on ranks and responsibilities.
Free promotions are not given out and simply begging or asking for ranks constantly only decreases your chances of actually earning the rank you want.
Essentially, to earn a promotion, you must attend several training sessions held throughout the school year on weekends and perform as excellently as possible (Further information regarding where and when training sessions occur can be found in the next section).
Everyone who attends a training session will be logged at the beginning, and as soon as the training session concludes, your points for that training will be sent to either the Head of Security and they will enter it, usually on Monday, on the PBST Points Database (pPD). This can be found in the Security tab of the pinewoodbuilders.net site.
You’re probably thinking - "what are 'points'?". Three-Tier Points is the promotion system which is currently being used and has been used in the security division ever since mid-February 2016. At the end of each training session, you'll receive points. These points reflect on your overall performance. (Ability to listen to instructions, participation in activities, combat skills, leadership skills, answering questions correctly - and so forth.)
You'll receive either an 2, 1, 0 or -1 grade depending on your performance per training session:
2 - Outstanding overall performance; high levels of grammar, maturity and respect, high leadership and teamwork shown, active and constant participation in all fields, excellent combat skills and so forth.
1 - Satisfactory/good overall performance; mastering at least half of the above qualities at a high standard, with the rest needing an improvement.
0 - Lack of overall performance; this simply means that you either joined a training session exceedingly late, failed to participate in most activities due to constantly needing to go away from your keyboard and so forth.
-1 - Terrible/unacceptable overall performance; constant immaturity, disrespect and failure to participate in activities, team-killing and failing to listen to instructions and so forth. Earning three of these '-1' grades is an instant exile and blacklist from PBST and so is exploiting whether you are on duty or not. Exploiting is against not only Pinewood's rules, but ROBLOX's rules as well.
Next, the rank boundaries and grade requirements:
> You start out in PBST as a trainee.
> To earn 'Tier 1' - you must earn 10 points in total from PBST training sessions and activities; additionally, you're still considered a low rank - do not command anyone and most importantly fulfill your job without abusing. You will recieve the standard Tier 1 loadout- lethal baton, riot shield, tazer and riot shotgun.
> To earn 'Tier 2' - you must earn 25 points in total. At this point, you'll receive a USP and an MP7S in addition to your previous loadout. These weapons are lethal, and should be treated as such.
> To earn 'Tier 3' - you must be handpicked by the Field Officers, Lieutenant Head of Security or Head of Security as a Tier 2 when showing signs of not only exceptional performance; however, capability, trust, skill and most importantly, leadership and maturity alongside above average grammar. At this rank you are on the road to the PIA. At this rank, you will also have access to the LOW rifle- a multi-function rifle capable of damage, blindness, and tazing.
> To earn 'Field Officer/ Trainer' - you must be a well performing Tier 3, high rank or PIA member who can be trusted to host trainings and command PBST members, members here are chosen by the Head of Security.
> To earn 'Head of Security' - you must be handpicked by the Chairman and Vice President(s) when showing all of the above and more, and the position must be vacant.
- Asking for additional training sessions isn't permitted.
- Asking for free promotions isn't permitted.
- Hosting fake training sessions isn't permitted; only Field Officers+ are permitted to host training sessions, however Tier 3s may assist Field Officers with training, and may host trainings when permission is given by a Field Officer or the Head of Security or when no Field Officer is present or can be summoned at a scheduled training.
══─────────╡Training Information╞─────────══
This section will inform you of all crucial information regarding training sessions.
For the duration of the official secondary school year (excluding primary school, college or university of course) training sessions are held every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at 13:00BST/8:00 AM EST and 18:00BST/1:00PM EST by a random Field Officer or T3 at: http://www.roblox.com/games/298521066/PBST-Training-Facility
Field Officers also may host trainings whenever they like, so be sure to watch the shout in case a trainer decides to host a random one. If they do, it is an official training, and points will be logged. Please come in full training attire or you may not be logged.
On the other hand, during the summer holidays, training sessions are held daily at the same time and at the same official location/facility.
Lateness isn't tolerated and will most likely result in an '0' if you choose to participate, however training servers are often locked after the session has begun. Asking for training sessions or hosting fake training sessions additionally isn't permitted, as already previously mentioned.
══─────────╡Security Rules and Protocol╞─────────══
> RULES <
Every handbook will have a 'rules' section, however this one includes our official protocols in addition to this. Assure you follow all rules, even those that I may have accidentally missed out as common sense should be followed.
All security members are expected to:
> Follow and refrain from questioning orders from higher ranks unless absolutely logical and necessary.
> Respect other members of the group, as well as maintaining an appropriate level of maturity and grammar. Standards of necessities such as this should only increase as you work your way up.
> Keep the wall on-topic and refrain from spamming or advertising, as well as avoid posting useless nonsense. Posts deemed unnecessary will be deleted.
> Follow all ROBLOX rules.
> Refrain from intentionally 'trolling' other users and abusing powers.
> Absolutely refrain from attempting to or scamming, exploiting, committing crimes such as DDoS and so forth.
Field Officers are expected to:
> Host training sessions professionally and quickly while providing a good experience for members. You're role models, act like it.
> Assure that no exploits are evident at official group facilities and help maintain security-related matters as well as deal with minor and medium incidents at places and group walls.
> Use a high-level of grammar, spelling and punctuation at all times when on-duty and attempt being a role-model for lower ranks.
> Improvise when needed, for example, assuring activities at training sessions are suitable.
> Have knowledge of all facilities, inside and outside.
> Deal with incidents professionally and logically, giving out punishments fairly.
> Choose users who meet requirements for Tier 3 and give their names to the Head of Security for consideration.
The Lieutenant Head(s) of Security is expected to:
> Manage the entire security division alongside the Head of Security.
> Assist in dealing with large-scale incidents.
> Have complete knowledge of all Pinewood groups and facilities as well as being able to host trainings when needed and manage Field Officers.
> Search for new members to be promoted to Tier 3.
The Head of Security is expected to:
> Manage the entire security division alongside the Chairman, Vice President(s) and the Lieutenant Head of Security.
> Deal with large-scale incidents.
> Assure field officers are suitable for their role and are productive.
> Have complete knowledge of all Pinewood groups and facilities as well as being able to deal with incidents and respond to crisis professionally and logically. Improvising when needed.
> Assure everything is being run correctly and that things remain under control, as well as producing new things for security alongside the Chairman, VP(s) and BoD, by either building, scripting, writing and so forth.
Breaking rules repeatedly leads to punishment; depending on the severity of the offence, it can vary. For example, exploiting will lead to a permanent ban, exile and blacklist from all Pinewood groups and facilities - while advertising and spamming once simply lead to a deletion of the post.
> PROTOCOLS <
Protocols are things that almost all security members are expected to do and are supposed to do in a certain scenario. This section will explain most of the protocols and elaborate on the most common ones.
> Members of PBST, especially Trainees are required to wear uniform in all firing ranges at official facilities such as the HQ, Research Facility and Computer Core at all times. If those members are found without a uniform, do not kill them at first. Firstly, ask them to acquire the proper uniform and equip it or use a morph - if they refuse, inform them that they must leave the range, if they still refuse - kill them.
> Members ranked 'Trainee-T2' are required to wear uniform during official training sessions.
> Only members ranked 'Tier 3+' are allowed to assist in training sessions. If anyone below their rank is assisting, and a field officer does not notice, point it out. If no T3s are available to assist a training, T2s that the field officer selects may assist.
> Only Field Officers+ are allowed to host official training sessions. If anyone below this rank are, take a video or a screenshot as evidence and send it to a Field Officer, as well as attempting to tell them to stop. Also there may be occasions when a T3 hosts a training, however they may only do so with the permission of the Head of Security or a Field Officer. They also may host if no Field Officer is present and one cannot be summoned. Their logs must be sent to the Head of Security via Skype, Discord or ROBLOX following the conclusion of the training session.
> Over-powered weapon abusers are to be killed on sight. 'Abusers' is defined as constantly killing innocents and being told not to.
> Evidence such as screenshots or videos is to be taken of all exploiters and sent to any Agency member who has access to Pinewood's Trello Board. You may also use the PBST Exploiter Report GUI to file exploit reports. Try your hardest to capture as much evidence as you can before clicking submit.
> Security members are allowed to keep the core cool should they want to, but it is not a requirement.
══─────────╡Conclusion╞─────────══
If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to send a message to any Field Officer or the Head of Security.

can you be security and be a zombie? |

Okay so when they say keep the core cool do they mean cool it down or not or cool it down, do nothing, or cause a meltdown? Because I am very confused about the wording of that rule.

Sir at PBST. You have made a grammatical mistake in the phrase "lateness isn't tolerated and will most likely result in an '0' if you choose to participate". The mistake is the an'0' part. As Z is not a vowel it should have an a, not an.
Yours sincerely

Do you have to wear a uniform at all times, or just in the range. |
|

1pm EST? That corresponds to 1am in my country, which is running GMT+8, Singapore/Hong Kong Time? Is everyone in this timezone expected to stay up until 1am to participate in the trainings? |
